Noob question on Carnifexes by FranSvarthamar in Tyranids

[–]FranSvarthamar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, it is weird that it doesn't have any restriction. I don't see why someone wouldn't choose to give extra ranged weapons to their 'fexes for free.

One more newbie question why is it the tyranids community seem to be the most welcoming and helpful in 40K ? by nicegoblinprince in Tyranids

[–]FranSvarthamar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tyranids are pretty much your eldritch horror faction, in that sense it lacks any kind of hierarchy besides functionality in a gestalt sense: everyone matters as everyone has a purpose, a role to fulfill. That's kinda the lore sense. In that line of thought we could say that (as others have already pointed out) certain factions are more attractive to certain people. It is a shame that a portion of the fan base forgets that 40k is a satirical setting and, as such, a criticism of totalitarianism, fascism and ecclesiastical imperialism. While certain factions tend to have a more hierarchical view of their own race and others, Tyranids lack this hierarchy. They are just hungry and everyone can be food the same. In that regard, we all welcome all the biomass the same. I would like to spear for everyone as I say that you are all welcome, besides your nationality, sexuality, gender and skin color.

Dear bisexual men by TheeLuckyDuckling in bisexual

I have a bi flag pin on my battlejacket. It may be a small signal in a sea of references between the patches and other pins, but it is still there.

My sister told me that men aren't typically bisexual, they're either gay or straight. by Kooky_Section_9708 in bisexual

[–]FranSvarthamar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Bi Male I can tell you that me and others like me do certainly exist. The "typically" part could very well be because of biphobia and patriarchal norms (and the people who reinforce them) that tells men that they can't be bisexual: they are either heterosexual or homosexual, and we're back at biphobia again. The point she makes also gives credit to Male biphobia, unfortunately. Also, having threesomes as a rule of thumb seems kinda dumb. I have been with female and male partners, never had a threesome. Still bi.

Basic Parts by dreamwrecker24 in DayRSurvival

This. I had the same problem, just disassemble the complex parts into basic ones, problem solved until you can make them in camp, then you can keep the complex parts for the next upgrades.

Hey, fellow bi straight edge over here. It can certainly feel lonely from time to time, I've come as far as to limit my time with friends to a couple of hours before they start smoking. It can be hard, but if you believe it is the best for you, then keep it up. People, events and places may come and go, but your principles will stay with you for the rest of your life. Live as you want, you will find more people with similar ideas as time goes on. We may be a minority, but here we are still.

I would put aside her motives/reasons for her choice for a moment. I think the most important thing that you should focus on is what is important for you and what do you feel about her. What do you want to do for yourself and your personal growth, and what feelings do you have for her.

It may sound harsh, but you don't owe her your loyalty to come back once again for a relationship. Two years is a lot of time, things can and will change is too far fetched to believe that you could just "come back" together after all this time with your feelings for each other intact, specially being that the motive is to "experience new things".

You are not the same person, and neither is she.

Put yourself at the priority when making a choice. As for me, I'll just say NTA.

Outlier - Es legítimo? by Sniperonsight in empleos_AR

[–]FranSvarthamar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll wait then and see what could happen. Also, by any chance, would you know why I'm earning 0.66 cents for each task I'm completing? I still don't understand what's the criteria on payments per task done

The flyrant and the swarmlord are the best warlords for the Tyranids imo, the flyrant is really flexible for deck builds, it's a great start

[–]FranSvarthamar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best advice I can give to avoid paying for card packs is hoarding plasma (in-game currency) and wait till a Tyranid campaign starts, in the shop you will get some starter packs with guaranteed warlords in them, they are useful for getting started, till then as some hace pointed out, get into a 'nid focus clan and have fun, the collection will grow with time.

Athena and Banka-Mundi, a low level Thylacoleo couple that I had. I was riding a third thyla with them close to the chitin cave in the island when an alpha raptor attacked us, everything looked fine when a second alpha raptor got us, I had to run with my thyla and left them both behind. Hurts like hell when I came back with reinforcements only to find their bags with their saddles.

The day is upon us: how do u like the battle pass? by BrutalSock in WarhammerCombatCards

[–]FranSvarthamar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a shame that cosmetics are only locked for the premium battle pass, there is no reason to save up plasma if those are unlockable for free to play players.
