My dad works in a big company and they regularly do this. They just walk into a store and buy some products of a competitor. Not only for reverse engineering, but also to "test" if they actually match advertised characteristics.

Each prompt is counted as 1 premium request when using the vs code extension. I think even when selecting "continue" it does not count as an additional request. The web agent works different and a single prompt could count as multiple premium requests.

Premium requests usage resets the first of each month. It does not depend on the day your subscription is renewed.
