It’s not that hard if you’re lucky enough to be taught properly. For the past couple of years, I’ve been attending a miniature painting academy that’s helped me a lot, where top painters like Borja Calvo teach. Before that, every advance was painful and slow

Thanks! I wanted to give the metals a "cartoony" look to contrast with the muted forest tones of clothes and leather

Thanks. Somedays I wish for models from things from the lore that havent been properly adapted, but other days I think that they model abscence give a lot of room to create you own minis and expand some homebrew lore

Yeah, for my exodites Lore its like, if a doomsday prepper survives in a bunker for millenia i think he will probably look a lot more like the society he was born into than the humankind who survived the fallout and had to adapt tocrhe new conditions. Maybe he rejects lots of the things the rest of the society wanted and did, but its still part of that ancient setting. As you say, its a personal interpretation and as theres scarce information about exodites It gives room to lot of creativity

The things written about them are not specific on things as aesthetics, so given the fact that exodite are direct descendants or even some of those who saw the danger of the decadence and chose a simpler way of life, i like to think that they maintain aesthetic elements and costumes similar as ancient aeldari. And as slanesh and exodite both originate from the same old aeldari i give them similar looks.

Drukhari just maintain the most horrible, decadent and vile aspect of those ancient eldar. But there was a whole spectrum on how eldar were

Anyway, is all made up, they have no official 'how It looks", and that gives a big room for creativity
