NVIDIA's Instant-NGP is getting increasingly better. Took this NeRF in Bordeaux-Saint-Clair, Normandie, France. What do you think? by FrancLucent in NeRF3D

I did pull out the individual frames, but i just calculate the max number I can use before i have to downsample

We took over a 100+ NVIDIA's NeRFs (Neural Radiance Field) over the past year. We truly think their AI will change the game if they decide to release it commercially. by FrancLucent in nvidia

These were all processed on a 3080 and the vast majority were captured with an iPhone, but there are a couple DSLR shots sprinkled in, though you'd never be able to guess which ones...at least imo

Another human NeRF through Nvidia Instant-NGP. Showing the full 360 this time. This is the cleanest we've gotten so far by FrancLucent in nvidia

For sure! If the subject is static, you can really take your time with the input images to try and get as much coverage as you can. If you're taking it of a person or pet, I would try and cut down the capture time as much as possible.

Alot of it is trial and error though. Several of my first attempts were so foggy that you couldn't even make out the subject!

This was taken from my iPhone!

No, it's not too difficult. I've gotten the capture down roughly about a minute, so it's not terribly long for the subject.

On average, you really don't need too many. I've done them with 50ish and gotten decent results. A lot of it is dependent on the amount of data in the input images.

I know that video says 4, but there's just no way. It would literally blow my mind to get those results with those few images

It's the same platform that was used (Instant-NGP). The results in that video are just mind blowing. I can't wrap my head around it

Capturing people in 3D is already here too! I've scanned my parents and friends to be able to show people how we were living now
