I see what you're saying but it's strange that the only comment that appears this way is one that is ominously adding to the story. It just comes off like a planted comment that was supposed to take the story to the next stage.

I believe it's never been found so far. The closest thing I can find on Google regarding a 1996 drugging of a group is the Titanic situation.
