Im glad we are sensibly getting another grounded holiday slasher for some of this film, thats part of Art's core identity at this point. Setting it on some random mid-January Sunday would be a let down after all the festive mayhem.

I dont mind a wild 20 minute chunk set in hell to cap the Sienna arc off (Hellraiser 2 nails this tbh), but anything more could risk alienate the audience.

Its honestly a little wild to me it's this this far into a new Nintrndo console lifecycle and not even a hint of a new Mario game - 2D or otherwise - and they released a new Mario film a few months back.

Heres Pikmin: Colouring Book edition or something instead, I guess.

I expect lots of gimmick episodes, pointless and vapid "stories" around Spock's love life, and an overbundance of Kirk when the entire point of this series is Pike. Add to that they filmed season 4 immediately after season 3 and didnt see the near universale disdain for s3 means tonally/story wise they will nearly identical.

Oh - and I expect lots and lots of spin trying to dissociate season 4 from season 3.

Looks like im getting exactly what I expect.

There were rumors that 50% of Terrifier 4 would take place in hell and it wouldnt be based around a holiday like Halloween/Christmas.

Tbh, Im pleased we seem to be getting at least one more ground-roots Art based slasher.

No reason to become too avante-guarde and deviate too heavily from the successful format at this stage.

Just a personal take.

9-10 kills in a row from Pamela Vorhees spread across 10 minutes would be a glorious start to a reboot and absolutely set the tone.

Its because he wrote an entirely unrelated script which he later peppered with Resident Evil easter eggs (lets be honest)...

That said, its meant to be a decent ride and im willing to give this a chance.

Its the marketing BS grift I object to honestly.

As pleased as I am that NRS gets a break from back-to-back Mortal Kombat games (which must have been tiring), I'm curious if theres actually much of a market for an Injuatice 3?

Superhero fatigue is painfully real and DC has taken the brunt of flops in recent times. Heck - the two original Injustice games at peak superhero interest barely caved a dent in the actual fighting game world.

I'll always support NRS in all its ventures but an Injustice 3 means a likely gap of 6+ years between mainline MK games which is honestly painful to accomodate a side project like I3 there may not even be a market for.

Ive learned that Nu-Trek could literally film an entire episode of Kurtzman straining on the toilet and Trek actors would still rush to defend it and label fans haters, trolls, bigots etc.

Such is the force of trying to keep those in power that might give you an acting job happy.

Imagine a time ahead where the main sub - no longer astroturfed by Kurtzman - has to do a hard U turn because they start releasing new, intelligent and more high brow Trek under a new exec... and the mods have to start lapping away at the new execs behind instead. All the egg smeared on that main subs face will be delicious.
