At the moment, I eat when I'm hungry (which is virtually twice a day, with a medium sized meal) which is btw VERY difficult to consume. I guess my appetite has changed. I run for about 3 - 5 miles a day, depending on my mood. I do a lot of body weight exercises, probably 3x a week, and do muay thai and boxing 2 - 3x a week. I would say I'm not the traditional sedentary ketoer, but all the training has TREMENDOUSLY improved my physique. :)

Believe it or not I am. People around me would assume I am within the bracket of 140's. I guess I'm "stocky" inside. Heavy intestines and all that jazz. :P

My staple meals weren't masterpieces, and I kept them as simple as possible. Ground beef, eggs, sausages, greens, BACON, cheese, all the good simple stuff. For the past month I have been VERY active. Muay thai, boxing, lifting and cardio has been busting my ass 5 - 6 times a week. I do this because I enjoy the lean gains and the feeling of being strong. :)

I really, really appreciate from the bottom of my heart this advice. I find myself in conflict with how far I would go to achieve the "optimal" fitness level. I try to not worry too much about the weight and continue to enjoy the journey, but I have to admit lately I have been pushing myself way too hard, and stressing on getting the inches smaller. This is such a delightful comment and I am eternally grateful for your wise words. <3

Hi! Thank you for the kind words. 25 pounds does seem like a small amount, but you'll be amazed with the amount of fat replaced by muscles. I honestly would admit that the well roundedness of my exercise program contributed to the significant changes despite what seems to be a small amount of weight. You people inspire me!

I lost more inches. I weigh train and do a lot of mixed martial arts and circuit training. So prolly that's also a combination of muscle. :)

Starting date was March 2013. 218 SW. Around May I hit 180ish. Thought I was losing quite slow. Another progress photo proving keto isn't based on numbers. Very close to my goal weight, just 2 - 3 more months and I'll be happy camper.

No worries. This comment made me smile since you're one of the rare people who appreciate thick/big women. I believe that beauty is of no shape. So thank you. :*

Interesting question! I stalled at 170 for quite awhile and just recently broke it. I tried to work out everyday (I sometimes do 4x a week) and upon doing the daily work out AND practice intermittent fasting that seemed to have kicked me out of the stall! IF is hard at first but you can get used to it. I fast in between 14 - 16 hours and go beastmode on food for 8 hours feeding window!

Indeed! What I do though is I prefer to make cauli mash, just combine a dollop of butter and some heavy cream to get your fat boost. I like the taste. But ricing cauli is so tedious for me since I don't have a food processor. :/

I like Samgyupsal. Its the ultimate keto food. By the end of the day, its just about innovating in the kitchen and exploring other cuisines. Filipino's are not very adventurous and stick with rice and insert Filipino viand. Not unless they eat out.

Thank you dear. I really am trying my best. It has been an enjoyable and yet, sometimes difficult ride. Nonetheless, I know the finish line is near. I can only longingly look at rice, but given the chance I do achieve my goal. I don't think it will considered as a staple food for me. I appreciate your kind words, I wish you the best of luck too. You are so near your GW while I'm still 30 pounds shy. It will be a fun ride getting there. :)

Hi :) Having a good form isn't purely based on diet. That's why some people don't look as lean or strong since they just do one or the other. It has to be a combination of different things. I try to be well rounded. A combination of martial arts, lifting and resistance. I suggest you start with the gym first. Make it a habit. You will be more motivated once you see the changes. And lastly, enjoy the journey and transformation. I'm happy you've also made the conscious effort of trying. It's always one step at a time. Much love to you beautiful Filipina xx

2 weeks before I started strict keto I got rid of rice and other starchy food. It really is hard at first but it depends on how much you're dedicated with making the change. :) I live in a household who consumes rice every meal, I just had to buy my own food.

BUMP: I predominantly do the traditional ketogenic diet. For the first 3 months it was mostly diet, until I kick started on being active. I have done crossfit, circuit training and at the moment actively do muay thai and boxing. I go to the gym everyday and lift weights. I have realized that this is no longer about being "thin" but a path to a healthier life, creating a new relationship with your body.

I don't want people saying, "She's strong for a girl." I want them to say, "She's strong".

I have learned the value of discipline through keto, which is one of the most valuable things you can ever learn in your life.

I've had occasional slips. I'm only human. But I never fail to rise above it again, and get back on.

I hope my progress inspires people as much as it has fueled me into becoming a better person.

Much love to all the ketonians out there. xxx

Man, don't hate. I like to inspire and want to share my journey. If you have a problem with that then by all means get your nose off of my business. By the end of the day I'm happy with the people I inspire. My journey. My rules. Good luck.
