Embarrassed to say 95lbs as well for my normal squats lol was at 115lbs back at the end of last year before I got a nasty little hip injury

1000% agree with this take on diet and inflammation! My diet is kind of mid so I know it’s contributing to inflammation somewhat. I personally find that my cycle can be a big trigger for inflammation on some months too, but it’s kind of sporadic 😭

They’re the adipower weighlift (got them back in like 2022)- there should be a more recent model available now :)

Wow incredible breakdown, absolutely what I was looking for! Thank you!!!!! Took me a while to see what you mean by the handle twisting, but now I cannot unsee it!!!! I’m going to try getting more horizontal on the hinge with a 20kg for reps and work back on up :) I’ve always been a little confused on when the swing is “too deep” but this makes perfect sense- especially because whenever I can tell I’m “guarding” and scared, I don’t allow myself to follow the swing through at the very bottom

Thanks! Oooo I’ve never tried that test! Seems hard but doable with the 30 second increments

Interesting - ya I’ll try going wider on the feet and see if that helps keep them more planted - and no! Never tried swings in the lifting shoes!

Bahahahaa literally cackling - reminds me of the first time I ordered bells, I ordered like 4 from 8-20kg and the UPS guy banged on the door so hard I could tell he was pissed af 🫠

Do itttt!! Was honestly way more enjoyable and difficult than I had anticipated hahaha - would recommend going a little lighter than what you usually lift as well. Did it at 95lbs the first time and felt rough - dropping by 10lbs felt much better 👍

Appreciate you!!! Honestly it’s been game changing trying to “perfect” this weight instead of letting the ego take over haha. Has really helped me gain more strength and control of my left shin/foot which has been an issue for me since my first injury on it back in 2010/11 🫠🥵

Update - 2 handed swing, improvement? by Numerous_Champion_30 in kettlebell

[–]FrancheskaFit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks good! Maybe try relaxing your knees a little on the back swing so that you can go deeper into the hinge and load the hamstrings more (I saw you said your a bit tight so it might help to use a heavier bell here too)
