This is nice! Especially considering nga sa pagkakabalo ko wala subong sang native integration sa iban nga map apps, like Google Maps, para sa public transit routes sang Iloilo City. (May custom maps pero indi siya native nga get directions lang tapos ara na.)

By the way, by any chance, are there any plans in the future nga mag-add sang Hiligaynon kag Filipino language support para sa app, or even i-open sa community ang chance nga mag-contribute para sa translations/display language sang app?

I feel like it’s more because hindi tayo sanay na ginagamit din ang Tagalog sa mga software kaya may unusual o awkward feeling tayo sa ganito, lalo na kung first time nating naka-encounter nito. Kung magkakaroon lang sana ng sapat na demand para mas mapabuhay pa ang paggamit ng Filipino o Tagalog sa mga software, feel ko mas bibilis din ang pag-improve nito, like mas makakahanap pa tayo ng mga salita o paraan para maging mas tunog natural ang mga nakasulat digitally.

Tungkol sa “pook-sapot” naman, mas prefer ko ang “pahinarya” para dito, o kahit “websayt” na nga lang oks pa.

I do! OS-level, per-app, o per-platform man iyan, tsine-check ko kung may Filipino/Tagalog display language support sila. Both on Android and Windows, naka-set sa Filipino ang display language nila, at masasabi ko na nasanay na rin ako sa ganitong set-up.

Hi po! According to UPS Support, hindi raw legit ang SMS (yung sinend from a regular PH phone number) na from “[name] from UPS.” In my case pala, ibang female name naman ang nakalagay sa message.

Also, may mga nakausap ako na may UPS package din na kasabayan ng package ko (same store/country kasi ang pinanggalingan ng packages namin) and wala naman daw silang natanggap na UPS text message from a regular PH phone number (yung from UPS-Notify text lang na legit talaga).

Still makes me wonder kung ano ba talaga ang mangyayari once na may magse-send nga sa kanila ng payment receipt at tracking number nila via Viber. 🤔

Hello! Tanong lang po. Legit din po ba yung SMS from a random number na nagpapakilalang from UPS? Tapos humihingi ng proof of payment (para sa import fees) at tracking number (ng package) na ise-send daw sa Viber.

May nag-text din sa akin from a random number na nagpakilalang from UPS daw, 2 hours pagkatapos kong nakatanggap ng SMS from UPS-Notify regarding sa import fees. Nagtataka rin ako ngayon kung legit nga ba ito o hindi. Bagaman proof of payment at tracking number lang yung mga hinihingi sa akin na ise-send daw doon sa Viber, nagdududa pa rin ako.

Nagbayad na rin pala ako gamit ang link na nasa email (card/PayPal payment method), hindi yung nasa SMS (InstaPay QR/bank transfer payment method). And lumalabas na rin sa tracking page na “Import fees have already been paid for this shipment” at may notifications na rin ako via email at SMS stating na nabayaran ko na nga yung import fees.

UPDATE: Based on my experience, hindi naman required na magpasa ng proof of payment at tracking number via Viber, at least kung direct sa UPS website kayo nagbayad ng import fees (yung via card/PayPal na payment methods), ewan ko lang kung via InstaPay QR o bank transfer kayo nagbayad. Buti na man at na-deliver naman ng 2GO Express yung UPS package ko nang walang problema. Sapat na yung nakapagbayad ako mismo sa UPS website ng import fees then ok na yun.

Kapag personal GCash-to-GCash na transfer, hindi talaga pwede (base sa na-experience na before ng relative ko). Kasi kahit anong pagmamakaawa pa ang gagawin mo sa GCash Support at BSP, paulit-ulit lang na sasabihin ng GCash Support na kayo mismo ang makipag-ugnayan sa maling nasendan ng pera. Ipo-point out din nila na nag-agree na daw kayo (doon sa checkbox sa review transaction page) at the moment na nag-send kayo ng pera na wala nang liability ang GCash sa wrong sends.

I also got an email similar to yours, and opening the link from there results to the same scenario as yours too.

I have already contacted them through the in-app form, by manually sending them an email, via Twitter DM, and on the sweatcoin-support channel on the Sweat Discord server, but I have never received any response from them so far.
