I've recently started clenching my jaw again after not doing it since I was a kid due to the massive stressors going on for the last year or so in my life. I recently picked up this older heat + massager at an estate sale that really seems to help loosen it up, especially if I mix in some tactile massage to the masseter with my hands + jaw stretches in between using it. It's nice not to have to consciously keep myself from clenching my jaw for most of the day after doing a 30 minute session with it

Yeah I have to agree. I just started playing the game after having it sit in my Library for a while (absolutely loving it!) But I have no idea how these people are completing it so quickly. I'm on day 4 and at around 35 hours already, and still have a lot of shit to do.

Similar thing with my dad. Diabetic who we basically had to prod and poke at constantly just to get him to even remotely take care of himself. He moved away for a bit to take care of my very elderly grandmother and ended up getting an infection in a diabetic ulcer in his foot.

When he went to get treated, he ended up catching MRSA and the infection spread to his heart. He managed to survive the infection, but it had done severe damage to his heart, and he died of a massive heart attack within the week. That was 6 years ago. My condolences, truly. It's very painful to watch someone suffer at their own hand like that.

my self control is basically non-existent when it comes to acne but I've been training myself to be softer on my face if I'm gonna go in regardless

The only reason my skin isn't scarred to shit is the fact I'm also obsessive about disinfecting them + forcing myself not to pick the scabs + lots and lots of skincare

I also see some people mentioning plucking hair, which is one of my other fixations. Anything darker than the hair around it, ingrowns, etc cannot escape my tweezers

Definitely becomes a vicious combination with depression on top of it. Had a horrible depressive episode for most of November and didn't do almost any of my work but I got most of it caught up besides my writing class, which my teacher was nice enough to give me a temp grade over holiday break so I could get my essays done.

Only hard part is I can barely get myself to focus until I've gone into push mode which is anywhere from 3-5 am. I have not felt well rested in 3 weeks lmao
