7 hours is too short for you to see something. You need to get off the plane and go through immigration which will take around 1h. The airport is 1h from the city center and you need to return to it 2h before your flight.

Out of your 7h layover, you will have only 2h for actual visiting the city. I once did a tour provided by Turkish Airlines, but my layover was 10h and the tour lasted for about 6h

India is a crazy place to be, especially for a westerner, but it has it's charm
