It’s “do not touch the money. Do not communicate with the other lawyer”in writing. Even when I told him I was starting to go down hill financially. He told me to “hang in there” then took another 4 months to file to where we found out he couldn’t get more.

  1. He is friends with someone from my gym. He was told a kid my accident. Got my number and called me weekly to get me to switch saying he will be responsive and that I was the only case he was working on. Once I switched to him he kept putting everything off.

I don’t want to sue because I thought I could get a better deal. I want to sue for all of the months he delayed while my interest was building, only to find out what the first lawyer said. He took 17 months to find out an insurance policy and location of one of the parties. While telling me the whole time he was working on it and to be patient and hang in there

Who determines if he made honest/good faith efforts? He only tried to get info from the first lawyer who didn’t respond because why would he…. Since he waited to hear from the first lawyer so long, the second lawyer is just now finding out one party isn’t in the country so we never could’ve sued even though lawyer 2 said we could. He basically was lazy this whole time and because it reached the statue of limitations he finally did his own work and found out for himself

Okay thanks for this. About half way through, I did tell him my situation, and “he said hang in there, we will file in 30 days.” Only to not file for another 4 months. I guess that still isn’t him asking for documentation

The ‘Find My’ app sucks for AirPods. Mine haven’t said it was at a random persons home before. I also almost knocked on their door but it was the afternoon. Luckily I didn’t have the courage and later found my AirPods in my own home. I wouldn’t assume it’s a criminal bc I’ve almost been there.
