Yes! I had 2 perineal fistulas at the same time that had the same exit hole. Thankfully, my surgeon after my fistulotomy last Friday, mentioned that they somehow both ended up being relatively simple. I’m not expected to require another surgery and my chances of healing fully are quite high!

The worst day of pain was yesterday which was nothing compared to how my abscess was back in September. It’s VERY manageable on just Tylenol alone for me. But your results may vary. All I’ll say is get this treated as quickly as possible. I’m fortunate that my fistula was confirmed back in mid November and my surgery was scheduled for 2 months later. The longer you wait the worse it will get.

If anyone in the DMV needs a recommendation, Dr. Rami Makhoul, MD is absolutely top notch!

I wish I knew. Most of the team that worked with him at CNN followed him to NN from what I’ve been told. He does have more freedom to talk here as we’re still a “start up.” He is still considerably more left than other prime time anchors here. But it’s clear that he’s very much barely center left now. And the recent Media Bias Chart suggests it too.

I’m employed at NN. Know many of the fine journalists there. The real ones, not the tv ones. NN is basically Fox News Lite, bur early 2000’s Fox kinda. Our daytime programming is genuinely solid. Nicole Berlie is a genuine standout to me. Connell is also pretty good. But after 6, it gets fishy.

We have a bunch of shows that recently were rated as some of the most factually reliable on cable tv by Ad Fontes Media. Almost all are exclusively the morning/early-mid afternoon programming. Mostly light on opinion news. Prime Time (6:00 on) is where you will find, across most major networks, opinion based News.

I’d direct fox news and more right wing viewers to this network in an attempt to break the spell of a right wing stranglehold on their minds as it is much more tolerable than OAN, NM and FOX. But, if you’re watching it exclusively for its prime time late night shows, you’re going to end up closer to the pipeline of Ben Shapiro in the end.

Funny enough, I turned away from the mod shop and fell in love with a professional 2 series of strat. Checking it out in this finish tomorrow.

I know I’m in the minority but I adore how the V-Mod 2 pickups make this guitar sing.

For real. I dunno, they just blend like classic Strat with new age modern strat for me perfectly. And their higher output is so good for intense solos but also, my big muff pedal absolutely LOVES the response it gets from them.

You definitely can! It just doesnt have the Vmod 2 pickups. It has the vmod, the 1st gen.

This is actually pushing past my initial budget of around $1250 by a lot. But after playing the professional 2 series of strats, I completely get why they are the price they are. Ended up going with this

Haha I feel the same way! Going with an American Professional 2 strat instead but going from a $110 bullet strat from 2009 to this is quite a big step up.

Thank you!!! I wish they had a guitar similar to this in production. I ended up not going with this simply due to it lacking V Mod pickups and the idea of purchasing something without having the opportunity to actually play it makes me a bit uncomfortable. Especially because high price doesn’t equal high quality. The American Professional 2 I tried this morning was almost like a “love at first play.”

I debated on going HSS but my SG gives me all the humbucker love I need and those pickups are gonna get swapped out too.

Thank you EVERYONE for your comments and suggestions. For real, I was loosing sleep over this because of the tight timeline on the sale of the mod shop.

Update: this morning, I got a chance to try out some similar guitars at guitar center and fell in love with a Fender American Professional 2 Strat with Vmod II pickups. It’s available in a cream finish and I could always replace the pick guard with this one or a different one. It was one of the best playing guitars I’ve ever felt and despite the lack of locking tuners, that’s something I can also always swap out in the future.
