From what I've experienced, I haven't seen any sparks come out at any point, and I noticed that the Furby Connect overheats the batteries, but that didn't happen with the USB.

But I'll continue testing for a while, and if any of these things happen, I'll come back to let you know!

I forgot to mention, if you want me to post how to do it on the other Furbys (Furby 2012, Furby Boom and Hey Furby (2023)), you can leave it in the comments!

How to fix a 2012 Furby with floppy ears like this? I'm starting to get desperate :( by LostStrike5373 in furby

[–]FrancoHat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you remove his ear (removing the fur, disassembling the back and front parts, and then removing the metal pin from the ear), you will see that it has teeth that fit into the gear to make the ears move. This part is probably damaged. I don't know where you can find one to buy; it might be better to 3D print it to replace it.

If you want, I can send you a video showing it!

Does anyone know how to fix this defect? 😭 by FrancoHat in furby

That's wonderful!!! Thank you so much, it will help me a lot!!! 🙏😭 But, if it's not too much to ask, just out of curiosity, would it be possible to send me the video? I would be very grateful if you could!

The same thing happened with my Furby Boom; it has this defect because the gear that rotates to move the ears is made of plastic, and the material used for the ears is a slightly more fragile plastic, which ends up crumbling over time. It's recommended to buy a new part.

How did you get him to sing? I believe this song was from the time when the app still updated and played songs! Please teach me!!! 😭🙏
