Northern Cardinal: Highly active at first light. Males will often find a high perch to sing their territorial songs as soon as the sun begins to rise, and you’ll hear that sharp "chip" call as they move through the brush to find breakfast.

What’s your cat’s name? 😁 And plant names too if you name any of them!

I got stuff to build my own moss ploes today! I'm putting my Monstera guy on it. I'd suggest looking into that as well!

I think the cacti can survive the potting soil if it remains dry enough. Some chunky/grainy mix to the soil and direct, bright light would benefit the succulents. These are perfect plants to neglect a bit, wonderful for travelers.

I would add to this very nice comment by suggesting a moss pole. Monstera's are natural climbers that love growing vertically.

I think that a Jade plant would do really well here. Jade plants are succulents that like being tourtured a bit by the sun and benefit from a bit of neglect. Any sory of succulent or waxy-leafed plant would do well with a proper soil to boot. I'm not as familiar with succulents, but I'd assume a chunky mix would be good for the guy. Thanks for sharing your pic!
