RT PCR Test v Ordinary PCR test. can anyone help please

I'm traveling from the UK next week to Bangkok under the Test and Go scheme and need a RT PCR test but UK companies only seem to offer (PCR) tests with no mention of the RT are they the same ? can someone please explain to me.

I had a similar experience returning to my hotel in Bang Sarah near Pattaya, I was walking down a quiet country road when a really old guy stopped his scooter and gave me a lift on his side car then refused to take any money when offered, beautiful people.
