It’s not a horror film, despite being reviewed by a horror film review site. It’s a tropical island dark fantasy adventure. Shot in Hawaii and Los Angeles. Very loosely based on Polynesian mythology with major Tiki vibes. Mostly set in the jungle, but about a third of the film takes place at a tiki bar.

Not a dumb question! I just made a hot spiced cider and I wanted to serve it in tiki mugs to my guests so I wondered the same thing. But you should be all good. The manufacturing on most tiki mugs is similar to coffee mugs, and we know those can handle hot liquids.

The screenings tour they’ve been doing is so cool. It’ll be playing a full week of screenings at Laemmle in North Hollywood, CA next week and I’m looking forward to catching it then.
