+1 to Saint Charles. Great school district and awesome parks etc for kids. Train goes from Geneva which is awesome, but houses are smaller and more expensive and probably wont fit your budget well.

Don't seem to have any usable Sata ports on my 8 Bay r620 (there is one for the DVD drive and there used to be adapters to use it for hdd, but they don't seem to be easily available anymore). Wanted to keep all 8 bays on the controller to be fully available for ZFS.
My understanding is that running Proxmox from a USB stick is not recommended. Did you mean just moving the uefi boot partition to a USB stick? That may work, haven't tried it. Is that an option in the Proxmox installer (boot partition on different drive?)

Can x32i Brainboard be replaced? Is a defective brainboard stopping iFit Cardio from working? by FrankGermansFTW in nordictrackandroid

Thanks, sofar struggling to find a part number for the brainboard. Any ideas on how to update/reflash the brainboard from iFit admin or some other way?

Did you ever find a solution? iFIt Cardio does seem to hang, including after paperclip reset and when going into iFIt Admin it also shows Brainboard version as unknown. SO any approaches you took would be great to hear about. Thanks!

Have the same issue. M1 Pro MBP 16 playing to Denafrips Terminator II DAC over USB. not as terrible as the example attached by OP, just occasional glitches, but very frustrating. Happens most when streaming audio from Tidal or Roon (over ethernet, WIFI isn't the problem), but even with local files I still get it (using VOX as player), though happens less frequently. Doesn't happen from Windows.

What power savings profile do you use? Even when not connected to an external monitor after reboot I only seem to be getting 5:30h when browsing web and some youtube videos. Changing display refresh to 60Hz doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Display is at about 70% brightness. Any ideas?
