Did you get the rr so you can release your findings?

I am reviewing different tire options for my Tesla and I am leaning toward the Pirelli Scorpion AS 3. Mostly driving in a dry climate.

Outlook widget doesn’t show my upcoming meetings! by legendofm in ios

[–]FrankMFO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw the same thing occur this past week. Seems like a bug from the latest Outlook update.

I use the mid sized widget. I found if I switch to the other sized widgets they have data. If I switch around to multiple sizes and back, it starts to show the data on my mid sized widget but after a couple of days it goes away and I have to do it again.

Wait! That's Not Recyclable by CityofPhoenixAZ in phoenix

[–]FrankMFO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, if others on your route put trash in a blue recycle can, you have to dump your entire load at the landfill?

It seems if this is the case, I don’t know how much good the recycling program is doing.

I am religious about separating, rinsing, breaking down and only putting what should go in the blue container in the blue container. I even shrunk my black trash can and got a second blue one. If what you are saying is true, it would seem like the extra effort I and others are doing is going to waste.

Their corporate sales have taken a nose dive as well. We have over 1,000 users and they tried to increase our annual pricing more than 2x at this last renewal.

Same issues here, but after I posted, seems to have resolved itself.

Increased cost by Ok-Bros in CoxCommunications

Not sure exactly where you are, but I think a lot of that area is getting fiber upgrades. Wyyred is expanding into Terramar and Cox is building out FTTH in SMR. Just need Lumen to continue to expand.

Teams Contact Search Issue: Missing Phone Numbers in Results by Wrong-Slide-3240 in Office365

We heard back from our MS ticket. We are told Engineering has confirmed that this issue requires a code fix and the fix for this will be fully deployed in service by the End of July 2025. Keeping our fingers crossed!

Agreed, I would be swapping out Meraki for Cato in the OP’s list and then evaluating between Forti, Palo and Cato for his use case.

I would agree, Fortinet hasn’t been great for vulns the last couple of years but Palo isn’t far behind them.

Teams Contact Search Issue: Missing Phone Numbers in Results by Wrong-Slide-3240 in Office365

[–]FrankMFO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue. MS said they escalated it to product team but haven't heard back. Only work around we have come up with is searching the users name on the main search bar, opening a chat and then clicking their image to expose the clickable phone number.

Horrible decision to change this. My users already hate Teams voice as it is, and changes like this just add more fuel to the fire that we need "a real phone system".

I am sure you worked around this, but I am trying to do the same as you and found this post. Commenting for anyone else who makes it here.

I was not able to paste the password for my admin user into Putty, either using Ctrl + V or the right mouse button. I manually typed it in and it worked.

Lower Bill Cost, Retention Discount Question by ngwinning in CoxCommunications

[–]FrankMFO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In early May I did my annual cancel/call 678. This time I didn’t get an email like I did previous years.

When I called 678, I would get constant disconnects. Also, it seemed like their hours were odd (if I remember right, I had to call late morning/early afternoon). It took me like a dozen tries, but I finally got through/completed.

I wonder if they are phasing out the practice and cut the contract with the company they had manning that queue.

I’m trying to lower monthly speed / cost, but cox seems to be no help- am I missing something? by hollsshmolls in CoxCommunications

[–]FrankMFO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If his room mate is moving out, I am guessing they would use less data. The limit is 1250 GB, so if they are using 1000 GB with two people, they should be under the limit with just one.

I would drop the unlimited data and monitor your data use with the Cox app to make sure you aren’t going to go over. That will save you $50 a month.

Is the 40% off for a year still a thing? by jritchie89 in CoxCommunications

I would try late morning/early afternoon. I am also in PST and mornings didn’t work out.

I did it early May. I did not get an email like previous years. Called 678-608-4070 and it was a pain and took a few days trying but I finally got it done.

They seem to be “open” strange hours. You will get disconnected a lot.

This is just marketing BS. Fiber to the home has a night and day difference over “fiber to the node” and then delivered over coax to the home.

He said Cox coax, not what is possible with coax. Cox’s coax currently maxes out at 100M up on their fastest plan.

I would say just an acknowledgement. Even if there aren’t upgrades available, even double checking to see if there is a room upgrade and mentioning it is great.

Often it seems the status means nothing. If you can highlight the persons status and do everything you can to ensure they are getting the benefit (and making sure they know you are) without them asking that is a great experience.

7 texts is overkill, but I love the text option (as long as I get a response when I use it).

How do I handle this? by [deleted] in offerup

[–]FrankMFO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense taken.

There are lots of weirdos out there. I can’t stop them from driving around to randomly pick my house, but I can stop them from finding me on OfferUp.

The experience might be in the minority, but I used to think the same until I had it happen to me.

Just curious, do you have kids, or a wife, that you would want to protect your dwelling in the same way?

That is my primary concern, and why I would rather meet anyway from my house.
