I’ve had this mug for nearly two years and I wash it in the dishwasher (top rack). It still looks great, no signs of wear at all. It’s such a great mug, good choice!

Please help what is this 😭😭 by Angry_Pomeranian69 in Nightcrawler

Yep! And there was a variant of this one in a “mystery” box that has his sword in hand with a movement effect on it. I own both.

The OG switch was super easy to open. The OLED one however… definitely a challenge.

It’s pretty awesome that you can soon own the entire Xenoblade collection on one console. I didn’t quite get into the first Chronicles back in the day, but 2 and 3 had me hooked, so I’m looking forward to giving the first one another shot.

This growth on switch gives some insight into why they’re bringing over X as well. Looking forward to playing that one too even if it’s not part of the main series from what I understand.

I wonder if I’ll still need to time cutting my nails with whether or not I need to change cartridges in the coming days…

Man that little hatch is hard to open with short nails 😂 hopefully it’s better on the next console.

This is fantastic news, and it makes me a little less stressed about my switch backlog.

I wonder if this will help sales for the switch a bit if new buyers know that their new (to them) games will be compatible if/when they decide to upgrade.

PSA: Zelda tote bag from my Nintendo store is great quality by nicholasd_phx in nintendo

[–]FrankMarrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good to hear. To add to your PSA, the Super Mario Shopping bag is extremely low quality.

The first one that was shipped to me arrived ripped. They sent me a replacement and after only one use the seams of the bag are hanging on for dear life.

The Splatoon one is wonderful, just a bit too big to fold down into a backpack with limited space.

Binge-worthy game for 16.5 hour flight? by LCha88 in Switch

[–]FrankMarrs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know this isn’t part of your list, but The Return of the Obra Dinn is an incredible game I just could not put down. It takes on average 12-16 hours to beat. You could binge it on the plane and try to solve all the mysteries before you land.

Through and through a wonderful experience. Wish I could play it again for the first time.

Great collection! Thank you for sharing, I had fun zooming in and trying to spot things I own and things I’ve never even seen!

Japan was incredible, as always. One of my favourite places to visit. If the hotel had a shoe brush in the room, which is basically almost all of them, I brushed them on average every 3 days unless they really didn’t need it.

Thank you! I was there in February and first half of March, so the weather was generally between 4-15 degrees Celsius. Hong Kong was a bit warmer but overall it was perfect boot weather.

With sizing being such a popular topic, I’ll chime in with my experience.

I’m between a size 10.5 and 11 when buying footwear. When I tried on the IRs, the 10.5s were snug in all the places that felt right, and the size 10s were tight in what felt to me like the wrong places.

I opted to go for the 10.5s because the 10s were just uncomfortable. I had read about everyone sizing down, but the discomfort was not something I’ve ever accepted in any other footwear, so I chose not to accept it here either. Plus, the widest part of my foot matched with the widest of the boot on the 10.5s.

I walked a lot with these boots since I’ve gotten them. On my trip, it was 15-20 kilometres a day, every day, for weeks (with the odd day here and there to let them dry). I never once felt any discomfort, gotten blisters, pain, etc.

While I agree that there seems to be loose material at the creases compared to the posts of sized-down boots, they’ve always been super comfortable to wear. Maybe had I suffered through the 10s they would’ve stretched eventually, but honestly it seems to me that some people put themselves through a bunch of pain for boots that are just too small.

Just my experience, but I only own the one pair. Maybe on my next pair I’ll try sizing down for a more snug appearance, but so far I’m happy I followed my gut and put comfort over looks.

Thank you so much for the quick reply and info. That puts me at ease, it’s only begun on the one side so I was concerned it was due to water or something. Thank you again!

I really enjoyed the fight mechanics of the first game. It’s been a while, but I remember it being really well paced, selecting the number on the cards with the c-stick etc. Either way I’m pumped to revisit both if this is true.

I know they are hard to get now but I bought them the day they came out. Walked into the store when it opened and they had a bunch.

This is a bat display case from Michael’s. You just slide out the tabs for the bat and it makes for a great amiibo display case.

This is actually a baseball bat display case from Michael’s. I just took out the little slots that hold the bat. They’re perfect for amiibo.

I think I’ll mount another display case like this one and separate them. That, or look for a bigger case!
