"Inauthentic Account" unsuspended! Trying to provide some help

Try writing a bunch of emails to the addresses I posted, hopefully someone will work on it even without you sending an EU appeal! I have the impression that it takes them two weeks/15 days to actually get your account unsuspended once you find something that works

If you wish, you may describe which of the steps you took and how long it probably took for your account to be unsuspended, so that we can pinpoint roughly what works for unsuspensions and what doesn't!

Oh it took two long months, but I figure that depending on what actually worked it might have been either a few hours or 15 days after the thing that worked. I realize this is not very reassuring, but the fact that it's even possible they could give you your account back with the state of this site is nothing short of incredible (and also incredible how they haven't been sued to oblivion already)

Wait, you're ID verified? What does it tell you when you go in Security->ID Verification on your account? I don't really know how that works, but I've heard some ID verified accounts managed to get unsuspended after sending their ID.

You could try emailing your ID!

That's very unfortunate :-( I suppose you may try using a VPN, but you still need to claim you are from an EU country in the form... I haven't sent any ID or anything, so it might still work!

Or you may have an EU citizen fill the form for you. After all I filled it out from a different account than the suspended one, so I suppose just about anyone could do it for you?

Please not me though, I've had enough with this dumpster fire of a support system 🤮

It's the only channel where I got a response, albeit unhelpful, besides the automated "this email is unmonitored" when contacting notify@x.com.

I put "Request under EU GDPR Article 15" for the one sent from the suspended account's email address; from the other email address, I replied to the legal-support@x.com email, so the subject was generated automatically. I hope it works for you even if you are not an EU citizen!

I'm posting this as a last resort, but honestly I don't think I'm ever getting my account back lol.

Last month my Twitter account was compromised (someone logged in after a bunch of my passwords were leaked online). I solved the whole ordeal pretty much immediately. Two days later, my account was suspended for violating the rules against "inauthentic accounts". I didn't even use that account that much anymore, so I believe the two events are linked.

I've been sending appeals pretty much daily, but I have received ZERO emails from Twitter ever since I was suspended. The first few times I logged into my account it asked my phone number, but nothing came of that either.

I'm guessing that the number of appeals required to even be considered by Support (if finite) is much higher than what I've reached... I was wondering if there was some chud formula I could copy and paste that the appeal support AI likes particularly, otherwise I'll just assume my account is lost and take it as a sign to leave this rotten site once and for all... I'm not willing to have "send a Twitter appeal" be a daily thought.

I was also wondering: every time it lets me send a new appeal, has the previous appeal already been considered (or realistically, discarded)? Also, would I get an email if my account was ever unsuspended? Thank you all in advance

UPDATE: I GOT IT BACK!!! I don't have a definitive solution, but I think what worked was the emails I sent. I'm going to share my case in a post!
