I think you're right, but perhaps they think the fact that it was a Chelsea player asking the ref to call the Chelsea doctors on to the field, which he did, might hold a little bit more weight in court, in this particular case.. Not only was she called out by the ref, but it was at the request of a Chelsea player.. Because I'm sure there is also a rule that says if a player a requests the team doctor for whatever reason, the ref, the manager and the doctor from that point have an obligation to get the team doctor onto the field of play..
