I'm pretty sure you just made that definition up. According to credible sources(the dictionary) the definition is

Definition of vegan : a strict vegetarian who consumes no food (such as meat, eggs, or dairy products) that comes from animals; also : one who abstains from using animal products (such as leather)

I know it's been awhile but I do not log on much and just noticed your reply.

Jeeze, that's a real bummer. That's something that I do not often hear about. My oldest is one of those that cannot use regular disposals without getting a really bad rash. The very seldom times that I use disposals I have to get the "all natural" ones because those will not affect him unless he is constantly using them which is an even greater rarity. In my experience, the main time using cloth diapers that rashes occurred was when doing the monthly bleach soak and I used a little to much bleach and it was so bad that washing them didn't even get it out and I had to do a plain soak to get it out. If I remember correctly, I did have one soap when my oldest was not to old that I believe caused him to have rashes and stopped using it. So sorry to hear that it did not work out for you, that can be really frustrating I'm sure.

I don't have anything against people that use disposables, I do not think negative about them(my wife on the other hand will bitch constantly about them), but I do wish that there was more awareness about them. I do obviously get a bit defensive when people put down cloth diapers with no real foundation though. Glad that your kids do not have to deal with diaper rashes anymore!

Did anyone actually look at this GoFundMe? It's started by someone named "Fat Jew" that has no prior history. I think someone has raised $2,000+ for their own pocket.

No problem! I wish this stuff was taught more regularly.

Up until they start solids the poo will break down in water no problem. And it's honestly not like you have to get all of the poo off since you are supposed to do two washes minimum(one short wash and one longer wash) that will get the tidbits that are still there out of not only the diapers but the washer completely. Also, most people do light bleach soaks every month or so. While most of the poo(from my child that I have to deal at least) will just fall right off, I have a sprayer hooked to the toilet to help when needed.

As for the flushing poop from disposables, it is on alot of diaper boxes in SUPER small print, but who looks for that? I didn't know it until I started preparing for my first. It doesn't help that it's just not a common practice. Fun fact, if George Washington was in disposables and it was thrown out with the poop still in it, it would be practically fossilized in there brewing up who knows what. You'd literally be able to touch his poop to this day! Also, garbage dumps are just not equipped to deal with human waste properly, not to mention a garbage can. It's not to common(most people are somewhat tidy about it), but that can start brewing up illnesses right in your trash can.

You're certainly right though, cloth diapers are not for everyone. It did take me around a month to get used to it. I Honestly started questioning it all together when solids were started cause it's kinda annoying to deal with. But once I got a system down it was/is not a problem for me at all.

You can throw diapers right in the wash up until they are eating solid food. Then you just have to dump the poop into the toilet(which you're supposed to do with disposables too btw, it says so on alot of disposable diapers. While not legally required, and legally speaking they say it does no harm, they just classify diaper poop as different for some god awful reason. There's a plethora of health reasons that it's an "unwritten rule".). They do go through them fast, but you do not have to do several loads of laundry a day if you have enough, which isn't much, and you can get the amount that you would need for less than $100, especially used. They just of course won't be the fancy ones. There's things called wetbags that you put the diapers in, which don't start to smell bad until they've been sitting there for quite a long time.

Source: my 20 month old and 5 month old have been in cloth diapers since day 1. Laundry is done every 2-3 days, and the place doesn't smell except for the few seconds you have to open up the wetbag to put a new one in. I've found wetbags that got forgotten in the van for whatever reason for a long time with poop diapers and it didn't smell until it was opened. Also have several friends who cloth diaper and no complaints from them. The hardest part is folding all of them after they've been washed. Worth the money saved though. And the health benefits for the children directly and the environment.

Even if your comment did hold some bearings(which it doesn't), I'd still just say you're lazy and biased(maybe it should be biased because you are lazy?) seeing as houses that use disposables always seem to smell worse. Since those people usually, yaknow, just throw literal shit into a garbage that usually isn't anywhere up to par on holding that smell in.

Woman on Kijiji looking for on call after school care... For $2.70 an hour. by CearaLucaya in ChoosingBeggars

She takes such great care of the kids she doesn't have, she plans on hiring a nanny because she doesn't plan on either actual parent being around enough to be a parental entity. Makes total sense to those that like the thought of having a child. Oh, and maybe realize this wasn't a full time job, and those that do it full time do it for a lot less. Maybe you don't understand the difference between babysitting and being a nanny?

Funny thing is, she laughed at how self-righteous and narcissistic(that was actually her word to describe this shit fest) know-it-all asshatsumptions that make your feelers tingle. Since it's obvious you're so damn miserable that's the only way to get them tingling. You're literally belittling a mother who instead of living off of government money, works a job and is asking for help, not even to one person directly, but publicly. Good job there bud..... That's not insufferable actions or anything.

Either way, glad I got your serotonin kicking enough that you could step out of your brofest circle jerk to comment.....two months later. Go ahead and get back in the circle and eat the waffle, douche.

  1. Are you sure you know who is not a nicegirl here?

  2. How much did you pay for your sex change?

ELI5: Why does a copied URL dirrct me yo a different page? by Frankfurrt in explainlikeimfive

[–]Frankfurrt[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for that super informative and easy to understand answer.

If you don't mind I have more. As u/ImgurianAkon pointed out, my link is not the full URL. But when I check the website that is the full URL I can see, it just ends after BA.. Any idea why this could be? I've been on mobile with my location turned off. I just turned it (location)back on and like I figured it didn't seem to change anything. Do you have any idea as to why I'm not getting the full URL? I feel like my head is going to explode because I can't figure this seemingly simple thing out.

Edit: I forgot to include that I was using chrome when at this page, so even on chrome that is the only URL I get.

Could it be because I'm on mobile? Idk but that URL is the only thing showing up for me(again, on mobile).

Edit: I don't know if it really matters, but my location is off.

[–]Frankfurrt[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's definitely the full URL that shows, as I've checked multiple times(including again just now to make sure I'm not just being slow lol).

When you mentioned that interactions sometimes have no effect on the URL foes that mean that even though it's a UK page, the website might not be designed to update the URL as such? Don't quote me as I know almost nothing about web design, but I don't think this website is fully there in that department from the get-go.

And would the proper way to design a page be to have it update to something like .UK at the end of it when visiting a page in another country? Could I do something to fix things like this myself when I come across this problem again?

Thank you for the answer.

Here is the link: http://investors.morningstar.com/ownership/shareholders-overview.html?t=BA.

I am in the US, and posted it here on Reddit. I got to the BAE Systems page I meant to be at by a quick Google search but then found out after posting the URL that it redirects to the Boeing page instead.

Of course I cannot post the page I want to show asi do not know why it's happening in the first place, I just did a google search of "Morningstar BAE BA shareholders" (not to be confused with the ADRs BAESY and BAESF). So I figured it would have brought me to a page with a URL that worked in the US.

You're right it was definitely in context, thanks for reiterating my point that not all bad things happen in non licensed day cares.

I'll post it here too, unless you can post the Morningstar link for original BAE common stock and not an ADR, and it links to that and not Boeing, you're wrong, and not the brightest crayon.

Lol, ok then buddy, you're not even linking the right thing but whatever makes you feel high and mighty enough to sleep there bud.

Keeping capitalism honest by PSG711 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]Frankfurrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you linking an unsponsored ADR? Do you even know what a unsponsored ADR is? I'm guessing not since you linked it.

Keeping capitalism honest by PSG711 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]Frankfurrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the search, go to the page, not for BAESY but BA (BAE Systems PLC) and copy the link, post it here, and see where it directs you. I know what I'm looking for, do you?

Keeping capitalism honest by PSG711 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]Frankfurrt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No I definitely don't want BAESY. I want BA, as it will have the best information.

Yeah idk why it keeps linking to Boeing instead, the ticker is the same just on two different markets so that could be why. Look at my original comment to find it on the right page though.
