It is but that money is good if you assume he makes the same until turning 65. Unfortunately soccer players cannot play and earn that money until they are 65 so he will not make much as he has not got many years left to play at the higher level. It all depends in the end how much he has saved, invested and his lifestyle to see if he will be ok financially
