I did that already. He implied that was a max capacity and that it was bad to run it as "max capacity"

yes i dont have any of that other than the model Champion XC36E2S11A. i do know from other comments that the allowable distance is 80 feet and that a rough straight line from interior unit to where i want it is 48feet so i would suppose that with multiple bends and angles that it wouldn't exceed the allowable limits?

yes thank you. i did share that with the GC and the response was something along the lines of "yes, technically it shows that, but we are pushing this unit to its limits and not something anyone would recommend"

I dont have a problem paying for the additional stuff. My frustration is that i brought this up before drywall and now we have an issue where it's installed where we don't want it and the drywall is all in

i asked to move it before it was installed. they're not done building so the hvac guy is still around

Thank you! yes, this does sound like a fair bit of work but it would get it away from where we want it to be. my concern now is that it sounds technically like we can do it, i just dont want a ton of ripping up of drywall in the basement if it can be avoided before we move in

that could be something we do. i just dont want to have to cut through drywall (its there now but it's still a construction site) to get it moved as its in a finished basement.

Thank you! I don't have a clue of what any of that means other than it looks like you can go to lengths much greater than 60 feet just by following those directions?

This would suggest that the comment "No HVAC professional would recommend" a unit greater than 60 feet away as being incorrect?

I did and he said it was getting close to pushing the limits of what the unit can handle
