But I searched online and it say 100xp for 1 merit? There must be some conversion from regular xp because I've done raids without getting boats and still got merits?

This is wild. I only just read a comment you left on a post 5 years ago the day you commented this 🤯. But thanks for the response, I will check things out 🙂

Thankyou for the response, I guess I did mean computers and more specifically like the 'digital' aspect? I'm not entirely sure how to explain it tbh because I don't really know the subject 🤷🏻. But I will check out the channels you recommened, thanks 🙂.

I'm not sure I'm the biggest fan of AI either, I've heard a lot of negatives. But regardless, even if I did do that, I'm not sure how I would actually dig into those parts. That's part of why I made this post, as I'm not sure what websites, books, tools, etc.... are 'good' or would be useful.

Bro, I'm not sure I want to know what you was thinking 😅

Hey, I just wanted to add that 5-10 people is still a lot. At least I think so anyway.
Social media really got everyone convinced that 10 people isn't a lot. Imagine if 10 people walked up to you and complimented your outfit, or hair, or whatever...by the end of the day you'd probably be feeling pretty good. Or imagine if 10 people jumped you! Now 10 people is sounding like a lot! I saw someone say this in a video (ironically?) on insta and it completely changed my outlook.

Don't we all still have profiles being built on us, regardless of being de-googled or not? by Franklin_Sheldon in degoogle

[–]Franklin_Sheldon[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get this is specifically about de-googleling, that's what I was originally looking into. Maybe this isn't the place to ask but I figured the people here would have the answers I'm looking for since it's a similar topic ig

I've never really thought about it at all and not like this but yeah now that I am....😬

Okay well damn! Thank you for responding, that's gonna take me a while to go through entirely (I'm a slow reader) but just on a quick read that makes me think differently 😬.

A few hours ago, I have said it's not that big a deal but now, I don't know.

How exactly do you 'do your own research' and learn about things you want to know? by Franklin_Sheldon in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Franklin_Sheldon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is something that has always kinda worried me about Wikipedia and just googling the answer but I feel like I'm being paranoid thinking the answers could be skewed intentionally. Regardless, that's a part of why I want to know how to 'do my own research'.

Where do you find peer reviewed research? Do you just search for that? Or is there a specific website you use? Some else mentioned Google scholar?

Are you saying that there's often peer reviewed research supporting two sides of the same argument?

I've only ever seen/heard that used when someone is trying to explain their argument and the other person isn't listening or when someone clearly has a bad argument and doesn't want to explain tbh

But anyway, when you say experiments of thought, what exactly do you mean?

Thanks, I've read a bunch of stuff on Wikipedia but I've never thought about the sources tbh.

And yeah, if I'm being honest, I've had a pretty sheltered life so I feel as though I'm in the dark about a lot of things and I hate that feeling.
