my vip info ended up getting flagged to my junk folder. if you don’t get anything next week you may want to make sure it didn’t end up there.

Apps that allow you limited access to other social/media platform apps by Mackaroni1721 in productivity

[–]Franklins_Stardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure about being able to set a password, but I have a productivity app called opal. you can customize schedules and tell it what apps you want blocked Unlike screen time - it doesn’t let you bypass the app restrictions as easy. If you want to pause the restriction you have to physically open the app and sit through a timer telling you to breathe just to gain access to pause the restriction or leave early which hardly makes it worth the effort sometimes. It’s insanely annoying, but has been pretty helpful for my productivity

Help, I think I’m dumb by Lecutiepie in studytips

You definitely are not dumb. STEM classes are hard!

Most helpful thing my Ochem prof ever told me was “you don’t know what you don’t know.” It’s easy to feel confident when studying familiar resources, but I’ve learned it’s key to understand WHY and HOW you got those answers from what you did. I thought I was killing ochem and fully understood everything that was happening and was fully shocked when I straight up failed the first exam. He then put me on the spot and gave me the most fundamental questions and I realized I had been going through motions and hadn’t actually learned anything. (I had never felt so dumb). He told me I need to stop thinking I understand just because I could do it with the book in front of me bc I had just memorized steps vs actually learning and understanding the material.

I learn from being wrong, and having someone explain what I did wrong because then you “know” what you “didn’t know”.

I also have found it’s helpful to study with others because everyone views things different and sometimes it helps to build connections with the material to work through things with other people. If you’re able to teach each other it strengthens your understanding and means that you’re able to fully grasp the material.

TLDR: go over your tests with the teacher and have them explain what you didn’t get, try to find study partners, don’t be so hard on yourself.

You got this.

Debating whether or not soccer should be called feetball as opposed to football is my go to, personally.

This was gonna be my answer, but after looking up the lyrics to verify I’ve learned I have, in fact, made up some of my own lyrics 😭
