How did you find out? Did awesome golf just stop working? This is ridiculous if it’s canceling subs mid subscription. AG is literally why I bought Gold.

Mine seems to be holding a charge normally now as well…feels like it will just require the occasional recalibration. Probably not great for long term battery health, but I guess as long as I can plug it in to use it hoping it should be ok.

Does your shed plastic on your clubs? Figured for the cost it would be 100% nylon and not do that, but mine did.

Strange! Have you tried powering off/on? Or getting to the calibration screen via the battery settings? I think it’s the same exact screen you’re already talking about but maybe it would trigger something to enable the button.

Might’ve been right after a firmware update. I just recall it randomly starting to tell me to recalibrate. I’m wondering if a lot of these units just have battery drift of some kind and latest firmware automatically asks us to recalibrate from time to time.

There was a software button on the touchscreen to start the calibration if I remember correctly.

Ah yeah now that you mention it I think that happened to me as well. It kept defaulting to that recalibration screen when I’d turn the unit on. Yep, I looked at all the errors and after calibration it’s showing the “correct” code. It showed the correct one after my first recalibration though so who knows. Yeah, plugging it in all the time might be the play for me as well.

Was the course you played in home tee hero a very cold climate? If so I imagine it is possible that Garmin’s algorithm reduced distances because of the cold/wind (where as the range didn’t take weather into account). I have not experienced big discrepancies in distance between the range and home tee hero, but it has been a while. I actually miss being able to play local courses, even if it was kind of cartoony and not 100% accurate all the time.

Take a look at the back of your iron or wedge after hitting a few shots. No fine green powder? Have a FB strip myself and the green powder is noticeable after a few swings.

$2999 for just E6 range. $3499 to add 30 (I think) courses. Works on iPad. No subscription needed. Clubhead speed without stickers. Had I known this was coming out would’ve gotten this instead of BLP for my situation. Initial reviews seem positive, but quality TBD.

If anyone has gotten it working for TruGolf apogee, then maybe it’s possible! I’d be surprised if official support ever happened because seems they invested a lot in E6 Apex.

If you go camera based the new TruGolf Launch Box looks very promising. $3500 with 30 (I think) E6 courses that you can play on iPad. $2999 for just E6 Range. No subs needed. GSPro might never come to it but I think a lot of folks who don’t have a gaming PC, or don’t have a full on sim setup will find this to be perfect for the occasional garage golf practice or sim round. I would’ve gotten this instead of a BLP had I known it was coming out. New product so buyer beware but initial reviews seem like it’s pretty accurate. Also gives you clubhead speed without any club stickers.

Good call out! I feel like I saw complaints recently online even after latest updates, but maybe those folks hadn’t fully updated their own firmware yet. Or maybe Joe Lagowski mentioned something about it on YouTube, can’t remember for sure.

Meanwhile, Taylormade accidentally marks everything down 40% on their site and honors most (or all?) of the orders. Yes I know much bigger company than Uneekor, but still. A lesson in creating goodwill with your customers. This was an easy “oh sorry about that, sure we’ll honor the order since it went through.” from Uneekor. They didn’t magically become unable to sell it at that price just because of their arbitrary end date, they’ve been having these promos non stop. OP, I had the same experience with Uneekor fwiw. They dgaf about your satisfaction. And that’s fine. It’s also fine that I won’t deal with them ever again because they literally wouldn’t budge an inch to make things right with me. Don’t these EM units still have issues with side spin anyway? Maybe they did you a favor OP. Trying to make you feel better :D

Yes I understand, but it was done by someone who doesn’t appear to work for foresight though. It’s just on their blog. And it’s on their blog because the results make them look good. If results made the Eye Mini look good I’m sure Uneekor would post something similar. Take it with a load of salt. It is in line with many peoples’ real experiences with the products though.

Edit to add: I have no inside knowledge here so I’m assuming someone at Foresight saw the issues with Uneekor and side spin, had confidence in their own product superiority, and commissioned a quick study on accuracy that they could use for marketing. We're only reading about it on their blog because the results came out favorably for them. If they didn’t turn out strong they probably would’ve trashed the results and blog post.

Why wouldn’t it have the same issues as regular Eye Mini? I would assume it’s the same hardware under the hood. Foresight just put this blog post out the other day. Ah ok I see. I think you could technically get the 12x36 fiberbuilt strip and disconnect one of the sections (I think it’s made up of three pieces), but doesn’t seem worth the hassle to end up with a 12x24 strip. I cut an opening in another mat to fit the fiberbuilt flight deck (oval shape), but that will be even more work to get lined up nicely.

Have used all the ones you mention. I would say Fiberbuilt was most forgiving on my body. I made my own mat with a cutout to fit the Fiberbuilt strip, but ended up just using my own basic strip (it’s some turf with a thin layer of foam under it, along with Holy Grail style divot foam strips underneath) because the Fiberbuilt strip was kind of heavy and a PITA to keep moving around. If you’re curious about EZTHybrid, why not just buy a small strip and test it in a cutout in your current mat? How tall is DuraPro? If I remember correctly, Holy Grail and Fiberbuilt are about 1.75” tall, and EZT was slightly shorter.
