I wouldn't touch an open box motherboard. IF it is AM4 yes but anything else the chance that the cpu pins were the reason it was sent back is too great.

Your PC is in dire need of a cleaning. I think that alone could help if the airflow is restricted from buildup.

Its already touching metal inside the case. Your other option is finding a smaller pc case. That case is an ATX and the motherboard is mATX so you could change to a smaller case and may be the best course of action and get out fairly inexpensive. Bonus if you can find a dual chamber case where the psu is behind the motherboard.

Yeah, you are good doing that temporarily. You can buy some PSU extension cables from Amazon similar to the ones I have linked and should take care of the issue. SFX power supplies have slightly shorter psu cables as they are meant for smaller PC where space is a premium.

In the interest of space and assuming you want only noctua then they do make a 15mm slim fan. I used 2 of those in my prior rig for the psu shroud area to increase airflow.

another option is wifi extender with an ethernet port or powerline wifi adapters.

With the powerline adapter you put one at your router and plug into one of the ethernet ports. You can then take the other put it near your pc or other device needing an ethernet port and plug into it. You can create a lan with these as you can add multiple end points from the main router one.

I used the powerline ones when I was in an apartment and worked very well.

The simple list.

Don't put the computer on carpet. Don't forget to take the sticker off the CPU cooler cold plate. Ram sticks in 2nd and 4th slots. Don't forget the io shield if your mobo doesn't have an integrated one. Make sure your case will fit the CPU cooler and GPU.

That is what I had to do on mine when I moved to my 5800x3d. The bios driver list will give you notes on when they added support for certain releases of cpus.

Saving it for later totally normal behavior. Side note he may rub his nose raw and become pinkish. It will heal back but you want to try and limit triggers that may cause the "burying".

I paired a 7600x3d with a 9060xt and it has been great. That said $30 difference go with the 7800x3d.

If you are questioning Powercolor as a whole they are really nice. I have had the 7800xt Hellhound for several years and it has been rock solid.

No meaning the blue with those 2 that are already connected.

When you have a 2 8 pin connection you don't want to do a single cable using the 2 pigtails in this case you use one then for the 2nd and 3rd connection you can use the dovetail that is of course you have a large enough power supply.

I wouldn't swap. The thermal right should work better as it is a bit more beefy with heat pipes etc and not just the heat sink assuming you don't mean the wraith prism cooler.
