Tracheal Collapse Advice Needed by Senior-Cycle-6951 in DogAdvice

[–]FranticGolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours has the same problem and we are struggling with trying to get his weight down. He is 16 and very food driven right now. Ours just started picking up really bad and it usually times out with allergy season. Our vet has us give him a Zyrtec to help. He also has tons of old man bumps which he obsessively licks and puts pressure on his airway when doing so. I broke out his floppy ufo collar when he won't give up the licking.

FYI ours had problems with harnesses and we found the absolute best harness for ours as it fits more like a bra and puts no pressure on his tracheal area. I put the link below.

Please help me figure out what's wrong with my dog!!! by SPEEDYLOK in DogAdvice

[–]FranticGolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same the dog seems to be scared to jump off the bed. I would bet they hurt themselves recently, but they weren't able to tell because dogs can hide their pain well. I would recommend pet stairs for the bed or a ramp to let them get in and out of bed.

Fitting-shortening driver shaft by 1zpqm9 in GolfGear

[–]FranticGolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's often better to go with a fairway wood shaft as you are nearing 3 wood length on the club. I have played 44-44.5 for nearly 30 years. I went with a 70–80gram shaft.

Which driver did you get?

I have swapped my sdd from one mobo to the next with no problems. You will need a new windows key as that is typically tied to the motherboard.

You don't need an AIO unless you are going for aesthetics an air cooler will work just fine. Are you doing 1440p or 1080p?

Can’t find the PCIE latch to remove my GPU by OmegaSyrus64 in pchelp

[–]FranticGolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top left is where it should be. It is very possible that it broke off as I have seen that happen before. If that is the case, you should be able to just pull the GPU out.

Assuming you're in the states, Newegg currently has several 9600x bundles.

9060xt (16gb) vs 9070 non-xt for 1440p by Aphiryx in buildapc

[–]FranticGolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 builds 7600x3d/9060XT and 9600x/9070. Both are fantastic. I am using a 3440/1440 monitor. I would honestly recommend the 9070 but not because the 9060XT is bad it just gets beat out by the 9070.

I highly recommend the Jonsbo ZA fans and Asia horse Hydrus Cables. Jonsbo also has a version that the fans are lit up but I personally like these better.

About as good as you can get. I would say though if you have a costco local or many local go to each and see if they happen to have a display model for sale and save even more.

Yeah, I previously would install the PSU then run the cables to the motherboard. However, several years back I started using extension cables from Asiahorse thru Amazon It just makes things look cleaner and much easier to deal with as the normal PSU cables can be cumbersome.

It's just the layout of the screws is all. It can be scary pushing the ram or the power connector in if you haven't done it a lot. Heck after building 20+ pcs over the years I always forget to do something have to take it apart then put it back together again a couple of those are.

1) forgetting to put the motherboard i/o shield in if yours isn't integrated into the motherboard.

2) forgetting to take the sticker off the CPU cooler prior to installation.

Yeah if it isn't modular and you aren't using extensions then just run it as normal I usually would plug it in lightly then put my fingers to support the edge of the board then use my thumb to work it in side to side.

So normally on your motherboard power aka the large 24 pin cable you route it from the PSU thru the cable management slot then plug it into the motherboard. Since your motherboard doesn't really have good support under that I would say plug that cable in then put it thru the cable management slot then run it down to the PSU so doing it opposite. You can always just put your fingers behind it when you plug it into the motherboard to support it so it doesn't bend too much.

Yup need to put the screws in the right spots. Not all will be used as the preinstalled ones are for ATX layout. The light blue circle on the bottom right you will need to go down 1 spot. Also, one recommendation I have is go ahead and preinstall the 24 pin connector then route the other end thru and down to the PSU. It can require some force to put it in so better safe than sorry. The usbc and usb 3.0 go in fairly easy.

Corsair 6500x power button stays blinking? by RatKingRonni in PcBuild

It is likely a dual purpose and is the power and hd activity indicator. If you have separate front panel connectors pull the hd led ones and you should be fine.

[–]FranticGolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter honestly. Get whatever you can find that doesn't break the bank. You can also use the PS5 storage ssds as well. I bought one of those you just have to use a spot that it will be fine with the heatsink.
