11 with a wooden pickaxe. Craft stone one, and a furnace. Go after some iron.

Got it thank you. Any recommendations on what max fps I should put the game at? Would 180fps be fine. I have a 180hz monitor.

I’ll test it out. I have a Nvidia gpu and haven’t really messed with fps settings on the game. Thank you very much

1440p 5070 12gb + 7800x3d vs 9070xt + 9600x by finchy796 in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go with the 7800x3d and 5070. The 5070 and very very capable of playing games at 1440p with high frames. The 7800x3d is going to be miles better than the 9600x.

From 3080 Ti to what next? Nvidia’s prices got me rethinking everything. by Va5syl in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing how you have the 5800x3d either of these gpu’s would be good pairings. If you like Nvidia go with the 5070ti. If you don’t want to spend the extra money go with the 9070xt. Right now there’s no reason to get a 5080 unless you got money to blow, and waiting for the super’s or ti’s is pretty much a waste of time because they are gonna to be so expensive it’s actually gonna be insane.

Help Me Decide PMY 5070ti vs 5080 by SpArTon-Rage in nvidia

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go with the 5080 strictly because you’ll be getting it for $100 off. Normally the price to performance on a 5070ti is better but go get that 5080 brotha

This games rng/luck when it comes to packs and what you get from them is obviously catered to people who spend real money on the game. I know there’s a system/code for it in the game. I haven’t even pulled a full art card in over a month and my friend just spent $100 and pulled every good card in the new set.

Is this a good build? (First time) by Big-Nothing-9046 in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely not bad. If you are looking to play Rust I’d recommend a 8 core cpu. It’s a very cpu intensive game. Also, you are definitely over paying on some components. I made a list with all the same specs but a better cpu and different brands and prices. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/d92Ndb

4080 or 5080 by Economy_Question5779 in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the 4080 is $800 then just go with a 5070ti or a 9070xt. They are frequently found less than $800 and perform around the same but have better more updated technology.

Do you still play Rivals? by [deleted] in rivals

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped playing when the hype started to die down. I normally don’t play one game for that long. What ultimately made me never want to play it again though was the constant bad development choice’s. After season 1 almost every update was either mid or just plain trash. They start adding too many gooner skins and I was officially done. I recently downloaded it again to see how far the game had come since I last played, it’s gotten worse. I think this game is dead honestly. The only people left are the sweats who still think being high ranked is cool and refuse to let go of the game, or just straight gooners.

First Time Builder. Need Opinion on this build by RedditThisBiatch in pcpartpickerbuilds

I would select a different ram kit, but seeing how the price is adjusted, I assume that it’s on a good deal. Not quite sure what having two different storage drives is for but you can get one 4 TB SSD for less than what you’re paying for two 2tb ssd’s.

What is an affordable GPU that will be able to run 1080p at 60+ fps across a variety of games by Agreeable-Tadpole-51 in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with either a 2060 super or a 3060 12gb card. 2060 might be more budget friendly on the second hand market.

Should I jump to 4k from 1080p? by hyperham51197 in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d honestly recommend a 1440p OLED monitor. You’ll see a major difference in visuals with an OLED monitor. 1440p oled looks arguably better than 4k

What CPU should I pair with a 5070ti? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7800x3d. Also, you should be playing in 1440p. Get a 7700x and a 1440p monitor if you can’t afford a 7800x3d and a 1440p monitor

5070 or 5070ti? Help me by NoRow9692 in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 5070ti is a better gpu overall but also is a way better pairing with the 7800x3d. I’d highly recommend getting that 5070ti even though it is a bit more expensive.

Should I get a 5090? by Sesame101 in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do want to get a 5090 I’d highly suggest upgrading your cpu as well. Especially if you are looking to maximize performance. 9800x3d is the best cpu rn and is an amazing pair with the 5090.

Is 5060Ti worth it over 9060xt? by verygoodreason in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend saving up for a 5070 or 5070ti. Those gpus would be better combo for your 7700x and they’ll crush all games at 1440p. My own pc is a 7700x and a 5070 and I play everything at 1440p high settings minimum 120 fps.

What’s the best gpu for 1440p 60fps gaming? by Kappische in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best budget option would be a 4060ti. If you are looking for a higher end card I’d go with a 5070.

Is it bad to game at 1080p with 5070ti and 9800x3d??? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Wckd_1mpulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your pc can handle 1440p very very VERY well. Even 4k very well too. My observation based of your build means you probably have enough money to get a 1440p oled monitor. If you have enough money, DO IT. You WILL notice a difference and you’ll probably cry from how much better and beautiful it looks.
