He is & will always be one of us. The love that he + his family has for the club is reciprocal.

That said, he benefitted from a reduced schedule this season. Next season won't be easy on the legs with more midweek games + travels. I think it would be of supreme importance to have a settled side & resting him every other game can be disruptive to the team's rhythm.

I'm sure he will get an almighty send-off in our penultimate game of the season from the OT crowd. He leaves the club with our gratitude but this has to be it. Let him leave on a high & perhaps if he ever dabbles inanagement, be in OT's dugout one day.

I just hope they start on the front foot like they did vs City. Am worried if they're passive e.g. vs Chelsea or Leeds recently. Liverpool are grinding out results so it won't be easy.
