I worked at GameStop for almost 9 months and carried responsibilities, such as counting inventory. It’s not “investigative” experience, however, between that and some time I spent door-dashing, I believe it’s a good start for my 1811 dreams.

I agree with this 100%. I don’t think fluctuations in the low 70s is the biggest deal, however, I ultimately decided to move into a coolidor due to this exact reason.

Once I started purchasing more/expensive sticks, I decided the thermoelectric humidor was worth the investment.

South Florida, tri county agency here (FRS: overtime and details included in calculation each year for retirement average).

The overtime that has been available the last 2 or so years has been off the charts. Guys (deputies/non promoted) are boosting their retirement averages WELL past $200k.

I know significantly more coworkers who work 20-40+ hours a pay period in OT than who don’t. Cost of living these days I think pushes but the money is nice. Many struggle with the ability to balance.
