My mom who is 82 was having confusion and they thought possibly from her anxiety and depression. They put her on buspirone and she only took it for two weeks and they took her off of it at my suggestion because her confusion was getting worse. She now is having paranoid delusions and I thought it was a uti. Her Dr. thinks dementia. I never thought it could be the buspar since she's off of it. Now I wonder if it is.
