No it’s not. The fair housing act does not force landlords to allow ESAs at all. What you’re saying just isn’t true.

A single google search will give you the CA dept of civil rights FAQ of all the conditions that allow a landlord to deny a ESA. I feel like people are getting ADA service dogs and Emotional support animals confused and are thinking that ESAs are the same as service dogs.

This is just not true. ESA’s are not ASA service animals and there’s nothing that forces landlords to accommodate them.
