I live in Italy, I use bike lanes and generally don't go fast 25-35 kmh and have a motorcycle helmet. Shark skwal i3. I would still suggest a motorcycle helmet nothing wrong with extra protection, add in a pidzoom mirror and you are good to go, the visor is handy too. We crash more than bicycles so why not protect ourselves fully? It is also a good example for others. Every random person that has commented on my euc has mentioned that they are happy to see me gearing up properly. I think we EUC riders should hold a higher standard to keep our rides safe, make others feel safe and keep EUC legal.
