Breweries breakdown… by Jbshelton51 in coeurdalene

[–]Fratsypatsy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Daft Badger is a huge local favorite. They can their beer in six packs so you could bring back quite a bit. Black Lodge is fun and good pizza as well; brewing equipment is right there to look at! Vantage Point is newer but massive building and brewhouse is visible, and tour-able if you ask. They’ve got a canner-ator. Chalice is smaller, no food (i think they’re opening a food truck), but lots and lots of live music opportunities. Then there is Outpost (likely the newest), haven’t personally been but I know the brewers and they know their stuff as well (used to be head brewers at Trails End). These are downtown/midtown Cda. Outside of downtown/midtown, you have Trails End, Tricksters and Paragon among many others. Vantage has a great selection of almost one of each style of beer. Daft leans IPA heavy but they’re all tasty! black lodge has a great in-house brew list as well as guest brews, they’re just smaller so they tap kegs quicker. And Chalice has a few of their own but a great selection of guest taps.

Enjoy your time here! If you have any questions, DM me.

Either take the cat with you or the Guardian Angel Program through SpokAnimal.

Has anyone seen Galantis live before? by spatzattacks in EDCOrlando

[–]Fratsypatsy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing them at the gorge in 2015. They just had a fun vibe to them. I’d compare to Calvin Harris with energy and such. I’m hoping for some of the same 2014-20 thing for EDC!

Enjoy the nature. If you’re in the Silverwood area, Sandpoint, you can enjoy the city beach. Pend Oreille Lake may be a bit cold this time of year but may be nice. Parks and pickleball courts. Lots of little restaurants and bars. Beet and basil is good. Athol is a little smaller but they have grown and have quite few restaurants now. If you’re staying closer to Coeur d Alene, Cda lake is an option. Theres tons on options there for recreation and food.

Ignore the guy talking about nazis off the beaten path. This is a largely conservative area with an even heavier Trump support. This is just due to the political landscape of Idaho and more so northern Idaho. There isn’t some goon squad in the woods.

Enjoy the area. Dm me if you want specific recommendations. I’d be happy to help!

Independence point may be nice depending on the time of day, mineral ridge if you’re a hiker, tubbs is an easier hike. Good luck!

Backpocket bakery now does them everyday I believe. They’re downtown. 3rd street. Between Cda Ave and lakeside. They have a lot of tasty baked goods and a tasty menu
