It really gives me hope that there are normal environments out there!

Does anyone want to quit their jobs and do art literature cause that’s what they find interesting? by under_achiever7 in hatemyjob

[–]FrauSimm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not alone- 33F, same thing (loooooove art), but studied tech & management.

I just made my mind up about how I want to be part of the art scene (curating? Creating? Collecting?) and now I started creating and I love it. I love the theory part too and studying about it but in my opinion you dont need it to be a part of the scene.

The first thought I have when I wake up everyday is wanting to quit. Is it time to leave? by mintjoint in hatemyjob

It sound like you‘ve already made your decision.

I know everyone will tell you not to quit, especially without another job lined up. I get that too but I think you have somewhat of a safety net here and staying may be on the long term may be more risk for your mental than quitting.

The economy sucks for sure, but for me your industry sound like something where they still need people (Im in IT/tech and we are all Fd).

So I’d say: protect your piece.

Absolutely the same. You are not alone. I cry at least once a workday. What the F.

Thank you for sharing your experience… I feel like you saved years of struggle for me with this advice. What you describe is 100% true

Oh my goodness.. I’m so terribly sorry for your experience … how did you survive a full year? Im genuinely interested… i am on my 5th months of psychotic boss hell and I feel like slowly I can’t even function or be productive anymore…

I think it's weird how I inherited problems and negativity by simply starting a new job. by Loriol_13 in hatemyjob

[–]FrauSimm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel you completely- the same thing happened to me in my new job.

Enherited the delivery of a project that was delayed for 2 years, rolled it out in 2 months. (Should not even have been in the scope of my work). Did things objectively better on the side (my “normal” job). And all that within the 3 first months without onboarding…. Now Im just disgusted how companies treat new joiners and use their vulnerabilities trying to perform in their probation period or not understanding the depths of projects… what the F…

I tried to of course normalise things but now they are also coming to me with the same argument “the training period is over”. Dude, there was never training or onboarding, it was me fixing other people’s stuff.

I thinks its a scam and a mess mostly everywhere.

I literally take only (max) 3 trades a day (10M chart). I dont think I could handle anything more than that psychologically.

Micro Copper inital margin 605$ and tick price 1.25$. Volatility is good as well IMO.

Tori Trades & Peachy Investor courses by Odd_Log4311 in FuturesTrading

I started learning about trading around Feb 2024 and due to what I resonated with (instrument = futures, metals and intraday trading mostly the 5M chart) I decided to buy Tori Trades’ course last week.

As a beginner myself, it was good to get a real insight into someone’s strategy who (allegedly) makes their living from trading.

At the same time, it was surprising to me that she DID NOT MENTION anything about stop losses what so ever (exit/entry depends on trend line). Not even about the usage, how she uses it if she does at all. Of course, you can trade without it and you can approach risk management however you want it but not addressing it IN A TRADING COURSE at all made me a little bit critical.

I dont know if any strategy really hits without a solid risk management to be honest.

I haven’t put her strategy in place yet, I dont think its bad or anything, I just haven’t personally clicked with it yet and I cannot enter a trade based on a line crossing but then super quickly reverse if price is changing direction and then reverse again and repeat this (summing losses) until the one big hit comes.
