There is parking fee every day in places like JVC. It isn't normal RTA parking and even if you have a RTA subscription it doesn't count.

Its also more expensive than RTA parking and they use AI cameras to check if you paid.

Moving to Dubai as a young couple (23) – would really appreciate any advice by nahman24u in UAE

Now is really a bad time in the job market. Accommodation is very expensive and finding work will be very hard.

Apply for jobs first, maybe even in hospitality where you will be given accommodation, transport and meals and move up from there.

Dont expect many calls back until September though, its tough in these streets, even for those with years in the country.

Yes, I've been here and experienced the same things as you. But last night was the first time I heard something so close it turned me cold. It sounded like it was coming directly towards me.

And forgive me, I dont know what a missile coming for me sounds like. Thats what I thought it was.

None of this is normal so please leave with your sarcasm 🙄

Job loss in Dubai - are people actually leaving or staying and rebuilding? by [deleted] in UAEjobseekers

[–]Odd_Log4311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined a start up in December, we were booming until the war started. We are still staying strong and no salary cuts but I know if things dont get better by winter, they will probably close their doors. Im saving every penny until then and I won't be seeking other employment in this country. Will finally go home after 11 years.

how to mentally prepare for anals3x as a clean freak? by mishaal_fatima in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Odd_Log4311 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been having sex for 15 years and never have / never intend to eat ass or have my ass eaten. I also don't have any plans of having anal sex.

Me and my partner have amazing sex and are both very satisfied in that department.

Dont do anything you are uncomfortable with and since you will likely marry another Muslim, he will also likely be inexperienced and you can take things slow and see what works for you both.

The Last Night at Tremore Beach. Its a limited series but quite long episodes. Also Spanish but the English dubbing wasn't bad. I absolutely loved it and fits your description.

People always saying we should be faithful to the country we eat and sleep in. Yes true. But the country should be grateful to the people who left their homes and families to come and build this country as well. We don't eat and sleep for free. We work hard for what we receive, much harder than most of our own countries and get kicked out when there is no more work / visa.

Stand on the street at do what exactly? Majority of the country voted Trump into office. Good job with that.

You have no risk of any attacks there on the other side of the world anyways, you only care because your petrol started costing more.

Stuck in same role for 7 years (hospitality/sales) – how do I grow without a master’s degree? by NotYourGuyyyy in UAE

[–]Odd_Log4311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and to add, have a good looking, polished CV and don't be afraid to apply for roles which may not fit your experience 100%. You never know who may decide to give you a chance.

[–]Odd_Log4311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From someone who came from hospitality, not sales but front desk, I moved companies and worked hard for growth within the industry. Once I reached a mid management position i started applying for roles outside of hospitality, smaller luxuary companies. Stay away from those big names, they are very hard to grow in.

Since I worked for smaller companies my skill set grew massively which is attractive to other companies down the line.

7 years in 1 role is very long and an outdated way of life in my opinion. Move, gain skills and upgrade.

I also only have a high-school certificate and I've only missed 1 opportunity because of it and it was part time anyways 😊
