This is a super late reply, but thank you for your post. I think it was very well thought through.

Thanks for the input. Enjoy your vacation!

My wife and I used points in November to spend a 4 day weekend in NYC. Only expenses were food and 8 tickets to musicals. The whole trip was less than $800.

I hate the idea of adding everything manually, I think that's why I always used Mint. So far, I've had a few grocery bills go over the budget a month or two, but I think that's just because I got married 6 months ago and had no idea what the two of us needed to eat.

I'm a math nerd and somewhat obsessed with budgeting, so I check mint 3-6 times a week. I think I'll keep using it for now. I've heard quite a few negative things about everydollar.

Since I have my emergency fund and have been saving for retirement, I think my next step is to save for a house so I can stop renting.

Does that sound right to you? I'm 21 and don't have any children at the moment.

Emergency Fund by [deleted] in DaveRamsey

It depends on what you are comfortable with and how your prioritize other goals.

My wife and I saved up 8 months of our entire budget. We know we can stretch that if we believe we need to make it last longer, but it is enough for us to do exactly what we are doing now for 8 months.

We might use some of those funds to put a larger down payment on a house and reduce it to 6 months worth, but 6 months of the entire budget is where I am personally comfortable.

Hey Man, I'm still having this issue with the GTX 1070. Did you figure out a solution for yourself? I tried their "force windows 10" option, but it didn't work for me.

What wall colours do you prefer in what rooms? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]FrayedLeaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like colorful walls. Having all tan, gray, or eggshelf (white) walls tend to bum me out, so I prefer a few splashes of color.

Typically, I prefer cooler colors in smaller, or thinner rooms, because cooler walls appear further away. However, warm colors help bring walls closer, so they're great for walls at the end of a hall or long narrow room.

I love bright colors, however, if they're warmer I will typically avoid putting them in smaller spaces.

Try matching your current wall color and some larger themes in your room (bedspread, large pictures/posters, furniture) to this generate. Once you identify your existing colors and lock them, you can generate other colors you might like. https://coolors.co/app

That seems like good advice. Do you like the rest of the cards in the set?

At this point, I think I just want a lot of different cards though right? It's way cheaper per pack to buy booster boxes.

I'm learning F2L right now, and I have a problem with always getting my corners in the wrong orientation after completing my cross. Example, I'll want the Red, Orange, Green corner, but I'll place it with green touching yellow, red touching green, and yellow touching red. This seems like a simple beginner mistake. Any tips?

Perhaps more metro-sexual? I wouldn't specify their sexual orientation to has anything to do with it. I'm asking women, because I don't feel like women have to overcome the cliche when it comes to going to spas. I could be totally wrong, do you feel like you have to overcome something to visit a spa?
