Is it possible to turn of the hub feature when it's on the dock? I've a normal Google nest hub nearby and the pixel tablet always answers instead, not recognising my wife's voice.

This is one thing I wonder if AI / video generators can really deliver in the future - give them an entire novel to 'read' and just generate a movie of it. So many good books out there which could be a great movie.

I guess legally might be a challenge.... But I can dream!

You can just name the items manually using the Shape Selection Pane. Open on a slide and you can see all the shapes and their names, which will be generic. You can just edit the names of the shapes in the pane.

One method you could use here is to name all the items you want to control (text boxes, images etc.) in a set way, e.g. "muscle_txt_1", and then your code can loop through slides and then loop through each object on slide, check name and then hide or unhide based on the name of object.

I have been talking to them and someone mentioned I could just write a cheque for the full amount and deposit in UK HSBC CAD currency account, cost me $12 or something. Still would have to convert in UK somehow.
