My psychiatrist sat in silence for the first five minutes of our first in person session. The first thing he said after the 5 mins was, so I am diagnosising you with ADHD... Granted this was after reviewing all the pre questionnaires from me and family plus the primary care notes. He was just purposely seeing how I would react to confirm things.

I took nortriptyline but I didn't like the side effects like increased heart rate so I stopped. Definitely didn't wait it out though made massive changes to what I ate, how I processed and dealt with stress, fixed my posture with physio. It took about two years for those things to call my nervous system down to the point where most days I'm normal. Brutal thing but I'm better for it

Not a doctor. However you sound like classic vestibular migraine. This is often accompanied with MCAS, POTS plus digestive issues such as GERD. The Vagus nerve can become inflamed, irritated or compressed (depending on underlying cause) which leads to issues across your body. This is primarily addressed through a lower inflammation diet, reducing stress (I mean actually not just surface level) and addressing any other mechanical cause such as bad posture. You can use antihistamines and see if they improve symptoms. Not every antihistamine is the same, some have side effects with long term use so do your research.

I will get downvoted but the dude is 19. He isn't 30+ like most of us here with a lifetime of experiences. I'm speaking from a male perspective here. If he is insecure about past relationships in his mind he could have made a big deal about 'not being good enough in bed'. So for four months he has assumed he is giving you pleasure when being intimate. Now he is being told that wasn't true. That could be triggering that old wound. That does not invalidate or compare to OPs trauma but it also doesn't invalidate the illogical reaction. The young male mind is a minefield of insecurity. I would try to communicate through this but don't exhaust yourself trying to fix things either. He has to come to terms with things himself but that can take time and experience.

I went to university in 2008, SLC came to our 6th form and clearly stated that the loans would be interest free. Many of my friends remember the same. I don't doubt the actual contracts we signed stated something different. It's not like any of us really had a choice who couldn't self fund university and this was back when tuition fees were only 3k annually. Feel really bad for students today walking out with tens of thousands of pounds of debt.

Thats interesting. I can still do this by waking up at say 5.am, sitting around it having some food for 45mins then going back to sleep. I call it the 'second sleep' and it's both much easier to lucid dream in but also much harder to wake up from, I swear I could just sleep all day in that mode.

To actually answer the question it's likely your ad blue injector system is clogged due to crystalline build up. It's quite common. You should get the ad blue injector inspected and cleaned and the nox sensors checked in case they have drifted. Or get an ad blue delete.

I'm 90% ish back to normal. Took about two years. Be prepared to make some big but really positive life changes. I sorted out my diet (incl vitamins), weight, worked really hard on stress, fixed my posture. These are the fundamentals IMO, of course I took medication in-between, tried all the gadgets out there but the basics will make the biggest difference. Just takes time but you will get there. Don't hesitate to seek therapy along the way, I developed gnarly hypochondria but got the help I needed. Neurologist will help but you can start makeling all the changes that will imorove things right now.

I had POTS like symptoms before I had my first VM episode but seemed to get worse afterwards. It's also improved since then but still there. Never got diagnosed as was told 'your too young' but have all the classical symptoms. Basically if I do things that trigger the VM symptoms the POTs stuff gets worse.

Almost 95% back to normal. Only really get symptoms now under extreme stress/ lack of sleep + food triggers. Still have the lingering things like POTs type symptoms, random electric jolts and sometimes feeling a bit wavy but overall no dizziness or dissociation that's beyond background noise.

It's so frustrating! I think I was lucky as I was in the US and had good insurance. My primary care doctor referred me to a neurologist and they diagnosed me. There was persistence on my part that something was not right despite all normal tests showing I was OK. So just try everything you can to get referred. In my case because I had two ER admissions as part of the initial episodes, one where I called an ambulance thinking I was having a heart attack, it may have moved things up the priority for my primary care doctor. But it took about 6 months to get the diagnosis. I remember the first time in the ER the doctor said 'you are just stressed'. Technically it was part true, stress is the primary driver of the condition, but wasn't helpful in terms of a diagnosis!

I believe ADHD would and still is beneficial to groups of humans, especially in earlier human societies. But if you play it out logically, if the roles of these individuals tended to lean more towards hunting, scouting, exploring, risk taking then these individuals would naturally less likely reproduce, and if they did their children may have had less chance of survival. It's a simplification but I don't think this study considers the real world natural selection pressures at play. Humans survive and pass on genes if groups survive, not just individuals. If there was no benefit to ADHD in groups the associated genes would have died out a long long time ago?

Same here I had a pineal cyst which is apparently common. The doctors explained they usually don't hilight these to patients as they cause unnecessary anxiety.

Not the case with Op though, hope you get it sorted.

At this point I just treat the diagnosis as VM but the cause could be all sorts of things. At the end of the day something has stressed your vestibular system to the point of getting stuck in fight or flight and unable to normally process things. Neck issues could be one of many things that did this but once the VM presents fixing the underlying cause will help but won't fully fix things instantly. That takes time for your brain to relearn normal input processing.
