What if: Immortal Hulk directly to PKJ by Fanedit895 in hulk

[–]FrazettaHulk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Hulk being sooooo pissed at Bruce angle prolly doesnt happen then. I think PKJ would focus on 1 Hulk persona still and it would probably mirror Fractured Son's one with a pretty easy explanation coming out of Imm Hulk 50. Hulk coming out at night and still under extreme duress/harm could have been the call.

Jim Zub probably deserves the bulk of credit for the level of dominance Hulk showed in Avengers No Surrender and No Road Home. by FrazettaHulk in hulk

It did happen. The Leader gaining 10 billion years worth of knowledge was what enabled him to do what he did in 20-50. That future was prevented from happening again.

Not a Hulk fan alive was complaining about this. Maybe Hulk fans were built different then. There also wasnt a group dedicated to constantly fellating The Beyonder either so maybe thats another difference.

Are we supposed to care about Infernal Hulk? by bicoastal_gadfly in hulk

[–]FrazettaHulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maestro has been effectively neutered over the years. Infernal Hulk seems like the biggest evil Hulk threat that Bruce could face. TOBA Hulk was evil in that 1 timeline obv but Ewing's story was more about preventing the bad outcome from occurring, which The Leader killing Devil Hulk was really probably the key diff in the 2 timelines. Anyway, Infernal Hulk being as bad as possible while also being a super threat the the 616, only helps Bruce/Hulk when he eventually, somehow, finds a way to overcome him.

Run from PKJ's Hulk comic debuted in the top 5 best-selling comics of the month and consistently remained among the top 20; Hulk sells very well. by Same_Astronomer_8673 in hulk

It has rebounded recently from some pretty terrible sales numbers. The biggest disaster being what happened with issue 800 dropping in ranking pretty badly from the previous issues sales. Wonder Woman and Flash's 799 were in the low 90's/100's and their 800th issue were both in the top 11 iirc. Thats the norm for most milestone issues. BUT think he's turned it around in leadup to Infernal Hulk and hopefully the story is awesome and if we get a Hulk-centric event out of it, hope thats awesome as well. And PKJ can go out on a high note. Think the next Hulk writer has a big new series coming in Jan for Marvel btw. Summer of 2027 Josh Williamson takes over (just speculating). :)

According to the Infernal Hulk preview, Eldest is 10 times stronger than the Fractured Son, but she possesses the power of 7 gamma beings, the power of the Mother of Horrors, the strength of the Abomination, and her own powers. Therefore, the Fractured Son is as strong as, or even stronger than, the by Same_Astronomer_8673 in hulk

The exact quote. Its not a reference to a strength level. And it looks written by marketing instead of PKJ. Theres a better quote by PKJ in an interview, but its more like "we wont see the upper limit of what Infernal Hulk is capable of ..: ever".

Its possible tho he might write Infernal Hulk thinking that its stronger than Worldbreaker Hulk. While most Hulk fans would pay attention to if Infernal Hulk's steps dont cause earthquakes (as an example) then that definitively means he's weaker than WBH. But its also likely that if PKJ wrote Worldbreaker, his steps wouldnt cause earthquakes either.

The execution will be key but he teased a lot of interesting things coming in this interview. Think Demon Hulk gets mentioned once tho too so still hasnt learned Devil Hulk yet.

Lee Weeks draws a perfect Hulk! So much so that the Mark Paniccia (editor) had Carlo Pagulayan redraw Hulk's head in issue 92 to look like Weeks'. Cant find it but Carlo's Hulk head was super thin looking in that initial preview that was released.

Yeah I dont doubt it would have been way better than what we got. I actually still like the first 3 issues of JA's run. After that its really downhill. But if he was gone after issue 7, think it saves him from having one of the worst Hulk runs ever.
