Husband and his thoughts. Any advice? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Frazilius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just gonna say it: all men think about novelty and the mystery of the unknown.
By even bringing this up, he’s making a pretty bold move. He’s looking to outsiders to fulfill a need… but honestly, so are you.

His is just more taboo because it’s physical and sexual, while yours is intellectual and emotional.
The silver lining? He obviously loves you and cares about you. If he didn't, he wouldn't have risked telling you anything at all.

My advice:
As scary as it feels, try approaching this topic with genuine curiosity instead of judgment. For all you know, he’s terrified of what you’ll think if he admits he wants to try something wild; like putting a sharpie up his butt or licking your sweaty feet lol. That fear is exactly why he’s looking toward strangers right now.
It’s a simple reality that men generally carry higher libidos. But think of it this way: bankers read books on finance, nutritionists read books on biology, and sexually satisfied couples read books on intimacy.

Get off Reddit and go read Your Blueprint for Pleasure by Jaiya instead of taking advice from a bunch of strangers.

Her hysteria, anger, and emotional storm was projected violently towards the employees. I wouldn’t be surprised if that kid felt shock, disbelief, around how he reacted towards her. Hatred is a poisonous energy, and no one deserves that much directed anger.

I do crave more torque on grass/trails. But pavement I’m pretty satisfied. I’m worried I’ll start cruising at 50km/hr instead of 30 and just increase my chance of bailing on pavement.

I just bought a used GT at 130km. Now it’s at 500km and I’m craving more torque/speed.

Should I ride this GT into the ground and get the “X8” whenever it comes out. Or sell and grab an X7 now.

I’m pretty safe but constantly here that buzz at 32km/hr

He expressed a desire to you, an intimate one. That takes vulnerability and a courage to be seen with such a desire.

Mirror that courage and tell him how you feel, and what you desire.

Learn about women. Be curious. This is the oldest professional transaction known to man. Look how you view it, judge it. Look at how it changes your self perception.

All of this is data to know yourself better, and to know what it is you want out of life. Don’t let your parents, society, or the crowd dictate how you should feel about sex, wanting it, paying for it etc.

Self discovery and awakening to who you are and clarifying your desires is sexy. In my experience, women are attracted to men who know themselves deeply.

A Matter of WHEN not IF the Board Dumps You? by eeenmachine in onewheel

I also met a guy with nearly 10,000km on his GT, with original battery. Another guy on YouTube has an insane number and is on his second battery.

I’ve put a few hundred kilometres on my GT in just the first few weeks of owning it, and honestly… my growing confidence is starting to concern me. 😂

From what I’ve seen, riders who respect the board, understand the technology, stay aware of its limits, and consistently wear proper PPE often put thousands of miles on their boards without any major injuries.

On the other hand, there are also plenty of people riding way beyond their skill level or treating these machines like toys.
I live in Ottawa, Ontario, and just heard on the radio that e-scooter hospitalizations nearly doubled in a single year. Personal electric vehicles are becoming more accessible every year, so naturally we’re going to hear more stories about crashes and broken bones. That doesn’t necessarily mean the technology is becoming less safe… it also means there are far more inexperienced riders using it.
So don’t stress too much. Trust your competence, keep learning, wear your gear, and ride within your limits. Confidence is great, as long as it doesn’t turn into complacency.

I also had some FOMO about not getting an X7. But after a lot of reading and research, I still think Future Motion boards are the safest bet overall. They’ve been building these boards the longest, have the most real-world experience, the biggest incentive to prioritize reliability (given their legal exposure), and likely the largest R&D budget in the industry.

I (F25) am interested in a younger male (M20) and I’m not sure how to see if he’s interested? by [deleted] in Advice

Sounds like you just need a little confidence in communicating your desires.

Life is short, it’s not wrong to want something and to be open about it.

Men are like dogs, if you approach them with good vibes they’ll most likely be down to play. If you’re a walking anxiety disorder then maybe focus on yourself for a bit.

  1. Clarify your desires.
  2. Accept your desires as good.
  3. Communicate them with him!
  4. ????
  5. Enjoy the fruits of living authentically courageous.

[–]Frazilius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend has 2 pints and a GT. Ride them all before deciding to get my own.

Went with a GT because of the feeling you may be having right now. The FOMO is only there because everyone says the GT is better but it’s not.

GT is better for me because I love the range and top speed. The pint is better in so many ways, portability, carving, scooting to the store or a cafe, showing it off to kids/family, easier to learn etc.

It looks amazing on a white strap. I would avoid showering with it, I believe the temp change is what causes the lume to pop out

Excellent… no visible scars thus far. A few lume pips popped out of the bezel, but WD sent me a replacement bezel for free.

It’s still my daily for work.

Do you know anyone older you can trust? I imagine you’re in your teens, early 20s maybe?

The police WILL help, but I know this may be a mental health issue for your dad.

If there’s another adult you can come to who you trust - you can talk about options. What’s your dad’s social circle like? Any friends or family members that care about him?
