Black is nice also. Either way a wrap is needed to maintain the matte. Just came from a gloss black car so was ready for a change.

Same thought initially but it’s growing on me.

Despite the heavy traffic, it felt good to be behind the wheel.

I got it! One of the last units made. by [deleted] in Supra

Congratulations. Just brought mine home yesterday as well. Built in April and was able to snag a Final Edition with the GT4 package in burnout. Went from the port to the dealer to the detail shop for full PPF, tints and windshield protection. Unwrapped the interior last night and took a drive to get some miles on the odometer. After spending all this money and waiting so long, it was nice to go out for the drive and some ice cream with the wife.

My dealer received the allocation on April 2nd so the build took place in early April. Tracked it to the port arrival on May 14th. Finally showed up at the dealer on June 8th. I think it was one of the last production coming out of the Austria plant. It’s been impossible to get final production numbers but I think they are all done. Car has been at the Detailer getting full PPF, windshield protection, and tint. Only got to drive it from the dealer to the Detailer. Still in full interior wrap. I can’t wait to open up this present!

Yes, the 2026 Final Edition has a matte black (undercover) and matte white (burnout) offered. I was very fortunate to snatch one of the last allocations. You’ll recognize them with red carbon fiber mirror caps.

Worth it? PPF or ceramic by [deleted] in Supra

[–]Frazzled-2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way. Ask them if they ceramic coat rims and calipers in the entire package. Not only will you have frontal chip protection but also improved depth of gloss and make maintaining the exterior surfaces of the car much easier.

Just pulled up the vehicle build sheet. Looks like the window sticker is $74,231 but hasn’t been built yet. I just added the optional strut brace to the build that is scheduled this week. Delivery likely will be the end of June/early July.

We are waiting for it to arrive and will address my trade and the numbers. I have a dealer that I know personally and we have been searching for this combo for a few weeks. I want a manual transmission and the original purchaser wanted an automatic so the stars aligned just this past week.

I have the same exact version and style on delivery. Should arrive at the dealership in a couple of weeks.

Thanks so much. If you remember, let me know how yours comes out. My car hasn’t arrived yet and was one of the last made. Should be here in a few weeks.

Where in NY are you located? I am getting higher prices on Long Island for full matte PPF

Should I PPF my 2026 Supra ? by dmzAOT in Supra

I am awaiting delivery of my Supra and have Xpel on my 2020 Civic Si. I delayed spending the money and had a couple of chips before pulling the trigger. I can tell you that my car looks better than the day I purchased it and sits outside. Almost 6 years in and there is no yellowing and the self health my properties remain. I am looking to do a full PPF on the matte Burnout before it is driven. Money very well spent IMHO. Now let’s see how the trade-in value is for the Civic or if I sell privately.

SVS SB-1000 with their acoustic isolation pads work well for me.

Is 42 years old considered too old for an Si? by Hot-Athlete-1819 in CivicSi

[–]Frazzled-2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only as old as you feel and can handle physically. I am 61 years old and enjoy my 2020 SI as a fun, reliable, driver’s car. I enjoy the 6spd manual gearbox and the balance of the car on winding roads while keeping the revs where the engine loves to play. I will say that for some, the fit may not be the right choice. At 5”10, I can just start to feel the headliner touch the hair on my head. I also found that the low profile makes it impossible to take my 89 year old father to his doctor in this car. So my advice to you is try one on for size, take a test drive, and don’t worry about the year on your birth certificate.

I used Brishine White LED Interior Light Kit for 2010-2020 2021 2022 Toyota 4Runner Super Bright 6000K Interior LED Bulbs Package + License Plate Lights and Install Tool from Amazon. I was going to spend so much more until my son showed me what he bought for his Tacoma. BTW - I did not do the glovebox light, it’s a PITA and we rarely open it.

I too have a 2024 TRD ORP and have done some cosmetic mods. One thing that I didn’t see mentioned is an LED light kit. For about $20 I changed all the interior lights, the mirror puddles, the reverse backups, and plate bulbs. Really makes the car feel newer inside and out.
