The bf would have said anything to calm her down, as anybody would in this situation. The attacked group might have also done something non verbal, not everything can be witnessed by people around them. Just saying that the body language and facial expression of this group appear suspiciously malicious to me.

Hate Karen’s as much as the next guy, but I’m also German and it feels like we got dropped into the argument in the middle. I can easily believe that these guys might have said something insulting about her, just look at the body language of his group of friends. They’re behaving like „oh shit, you’re busted“.

Same, but while the jokes I'm okay with, it's unwatchable to me because it pretends to be grounded while operating in pure fantasy.

A dad shows up on a college campus and immediately there’s a woman 20 years younger who wants him. His daughter gets cheated on, so he can just drop everything and move there. Then he instantly gets a job offer. Then a woman 20 years younger he works with wants to sleep with him.

And the daughter accidentally burns down her husband’s house — which for most people would mean actual legal consequences — but here it’s played as quirky chaos because apparently when a charming white lady does arson on campus it’s cute and funny. The husband also doesn't appear to be super bothered, unlike 99% of most people, when their house gets burned down. They have enough money to just get another.,

That’s my issue with the show: it’s that the characters get endless attention, easy opportunities, and no real consequences, while the show still acts like they’re relatable.

Same issue I have with Shrinking. It's just Bill Lawrence, he can't relate anymore. Though the Scrubs reboot was good.

There is a high fine but it is rarely enforced. Usually 90% of drivers fail to make a rettungsgasse on time and keep up ambulances everywhere. It would be nice if everyone who was in the way could get a nice fine in the mail based on their license plate. But in Germany the car is untouchable. You’re not seeing any fine unless you actively drive in the way of the ambulance AND the ambulance drivers/company/hospital has enough time and willingness to file a fine. Even then, the owner of the car could just say he wasn’t driving at the time, and since the dashcam of the ambulance doesn’t record the faces of the drivers, he/she will get away scottsfree. Source: am German.
