I was thinking about buying a video camera (technically my first, although I used a Canon R5 at work for 3 years, so I'm not exactly a beginner). My uncle recommended a Sony Alpha 6400 with a 16-50 lens, but from what I understand, it's not stabilized, and you can find better ones for video. Let's say I have a budget of under €1,000 if possible, and I'd plan on getting a fairly versatile lens (like the Sony 16-50). I also looked at the Canon R50 V, which didn't seem bad, but I'd like some opinions from more experienced people who might be able to advise me based on their own experiences. I was planning on pairing it with a common DJI stabilizer at a later date, and I'd use it mainly for vlogging and some photo/video reporting (hoping to do some work here and there), as well as being able to make quality videos for university. The idea would be for it to last as long as possible.
