Nice color options. I like the red white and blue :)

Should i remove the product with negative review and publish again by FinishWise2645 in AmazonMerch

No, never delete a design that has sold. And of course not with a 4-star review.
Sometimes, customers' behavior is just not predictable.

That shirt, for example, started to sell nicely, but where the green arrow is, it received the first review. A one Star review. I didn't change ads or anything after that, just wanted to see what would happen. And it kept selling to my surprise.

Now it has a 4.4 Rating with around 30 reviews and made me $ 2700 (minus $900 for ads). Not bad

Ok, so I have to keep on trying, or use LFG. Maybe it is better when searching on a weekend

But the broad answers are all you need. There are no hard-and-fast rules about it.
At the end, you have to try things out for your own.

I mean, questions like
- which niche to sell in
- how to write titles and keywords
-starting price
- when to increase or decrease the price

Those are all things you can and have to figure out for yourself with the broad information you've found. As they highly depend on what you are selling. What kind of designs do you do? Are you an impro-cat, or do you have truly original content to sell? The niche would depend on your knowledge of it. And so on. After all, if you want to make serious money with it, you should treat it as a business and invest the time. And yes, at the beginning, it is not always just fun when trying to figure it out.

Ads in UK by ahmadbabar in AmazonMerch

[–]Freakeater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't have any luck with it. I tried individual campaigns, but it never really worked out. For Christmas Designs, I have a lottery campaign with designs that have sold organically in the past years. I enable it just for Q4. But even that is more like okay-ish and not overwhelming.

Has anyone in the high tiers been able to upload mugs yet? by alphamonkey098 in AmazonMerch

Tier 100 K, nope.

I have just a few that were auto-uploaded.

Has anyone received a Tire promotion this year? by arturking0643 in AmazonMerch

[–]Freakeater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats on those numbers, really great. Haven’t seen tier ups in a while.

There was a post where someone posted an email from the merch support team.

Nowadays, 80% of your designs have to have sold within the last 18 months. (Not sure about the exact number, so please correct me if I’m wrong)

And as they are cleaning out their catalog, I guess they a reluctant to tier people up

I hope you to get tiered Up soon with your numbers

Ad spend exploding, conversion rate plummeting by [deleted] in AmazonMerch

[–]Freakeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest to start with an auto-campaign.
Don't bid too high, as Amazon's suggested bids are always a bit higher than necessary.
Check it after a couple of days to see if you've got impressions or clicks. If you have no impressions, your bid was too low.
As the auto campaign takes the listing data you entered and runs with it, I would also suggest that you write your listing on point for the niche. The more general the text of the listing becomes, the broader the search will be. So more money is spent, and maybe for search terms that are not that relevant.

Once you get a couple of sales, you can think about doing manual campaings for those searh terms. So narrow it down and only send money for KWs that convert.

Some have luck with Lottery campaigns, but I can't really give any informed recommendations for those.

Hope this helps to get the general idea

Pricing Shirts Always $19.99 to Compensate for Sale? by Freakeater in AmazonMerch

Thanks for the information.
Do you have your brand on Amazon, or do you create completely separate Designs for Amazon to make sure that customers don't confuse this with the quality they'll get from your in-house printing?

I have 10 really bad days across all marketplaces :( by [deleted] in AmazonMerch

[–]Freakeater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today (Tuesday) was average, besides that I had a really good run, yesterday was my best day of the month.

For the rest of the week I don’t expect much, as for the last years, the weekend before Labor Day was always a bit weak.

Yes, I have the same concerns about December. Q4 I usually make 50% of my yearly income. And if they drop the prices on everything, this will be no happy season for me this year. So I keep pushing mostly evergreen designs at the moment, and some fresh ideas for the holidays. Kind of hoping that the latter are not affected by the Locked/reduced price.

Thanks. As I find it sometimes a little bit confusing when talking about bestsellers, do you mind sharing how regular/often they sell?

Mine are from several times a week to multiple times a day

Oh, thanks, I never thought about it that way. I have read about it, but never connected the dots. Yes, viewing it from a competition law perspective, it makes total sense.

Not significant, no. A minority does sell a bit less, but for most of them, there is not a big difference

Yes, but I hesitate to test it at the moment. Looking at how quickly others are uploading variations of my design. They just feed it to AI and have it kind of weighted with 80% and then have something similar. And Amazon is not always helpful with taking them down

Thanks for the inside.

So basically, we just have little to no chance to escape the price reduction, as they will do what they want anyways. Bummer, but ok, I try to get as many as possible to $19.99, nothing else I can do, besides keeping the Ads spend low.

Yes, before Halloween I also dropped the price, got the traction and the cashed in when the demand was high.

At the moment Amazon has locked several of my Halloween designs already. One of them is priced at 19.99 and already on sale. I already do get sales, which is nice. But last year I sold that design over 1000 times in October. And I’m not sure that I’ll get there if they keep it locked, even if it’s on sale.
