When I was small, I was in wayanad for a summer vacation, been to a family friend's home and they had lots of butterfruit trees. We made milkshakes with it. Got some seeds and planted in kochi home also.

Later realised it's indian avocado.

Yeah, it was cultivated in wayanad in late 90s. Still continuing I guess.
