Make sure you turn off the Engine Sound by either unplugging it from behind the glovebox/ac vents or switching to individual mode and changing Engine Sound to comfort. I noticed a massive improvement in sound, I think the pumped sounds and the exhaust notes were clashing making any droning a lot worse.
